Entrance Preview

GMAT. Scored well above par but due to home problems couldn't go outside state, as such selected Gandhi college which had vibrant and dynamic staff in the field.

Internships Opportunities

Varoius national companies came to college during campus placement like Satyam, Mahindratech, Wipro, BHEL, Ntpc, nhpc, telco etc and offered handsome stipend of Rs5000/- during the training period besides industrial tour.

Placement Experience

About 39% of the students got placed in various software companies besides few getting selected in navratna companies. Most of the students got a handsome package of Rs5.00 lakh per annum in the start.

College Events

College usually celebrates national days like republic and independence days which involve flag hoisting and parade. Besides this there is annual college festival for a week in which national level college faculty and students are invited to present research work and debates in various fields are organised.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is minimal and assistance for taking research in outside colleges is also provided to students securing high scores in exams. The fee structure is about Rs20000/- per semester.

No, But college offers assistance to top merit students. Besides this various state banks are offering educational loans.

The exam structure was weekly based and thus assessed the progress of students and enabled them to learn gradually after passing previous exams.

In my clg all is good and I don't think there should be a need of change , if there is any we will manage by my self . And exams are of 3 hr which is equivalent to the exam .and my teachers come from far away and I respect there dedication towards us . Thats why I give 5 star.

Spmr college: a brief review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked bba because I've an inclination towards business and I want to start my own. The curriculum is not very deep but is enough for you to be prepared for real life and helps you to get job. They mainly make you learn management accounting, stats, operations, crm, etc Curriculum can be more practical in nature rather than theoretical. You will be having your mid sem after 1 month of college and will be having end sem after 4 months of semester. Exams are not that difficult but the marking might be.

Miet Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

You get placement in miet. Don't expect high package in jammu Companys like hdfc icici asian paints aakash institute, bajaj finance, Reliance, TCL comes in college. But you need good marks to be eligible for college placement minimum 75% required but I am not sure

My personal experience in Gandhi Memorial College, Srinagar

No entrance examinations are held by this college. The admission process is extremely simple if you're a 1st year fresher you will have to register for KU since GMCS is affiliated with it, this process is done online after this you can easily apply for admission in the college documents needed are 12th class marks card reservation certificates (if any) character certificate (original).
