Entrance Preview
It was an awesome experience to be in, Bharati Vidyapeeth's New Law College, Pune. I got admitted there through their individual entrance exam. Well learned Faculties, Classic infrastructure, Sufficient enough library facility, cleanliness, are what I would call the features of this college are.!! Prof. Dean. Dr. Mukund Sarda Sir, in all circumstances provide best possible services to the college and students.!! I'm Extremely Happy to be the part this college.!! Thank You.
Course Curriculum Overview
The newer course structure is much similar to the NLU (National Law Universities) structures. This college exquisitely provides the course BBA (Bachelors of Business Administration) (Law) to the students as an Unaided course, but with an extremely well planned curriculum. I would assess our course structure as 8/10. and the newer one, as 9.5/10.
Internships Opportunities
Actually speaking I never researched for any internships as my area of interest has remained diverged. But the placement cell of the college, assists the students getting joined at finest possible interns.
Placement Experience
For the people interested in Corporate Jobs, New Law College has some nice Multi National Companies, Law Firms etc. Many of the famous insurance companies like TATA AIG, Bajaj Allianz are the regular visitors to this college for their national placements.
College Events
One of the most prestigious events that this college holds is, Justice P.N. Bhagwati International Moot Court Competition, On Human Rights. I take immense pride to be the part of this competition for last 5 years. Successful and planned execution of the event is what makes it memorable.Whole college celebrates this event by participating themselves as volunteers and by cheering up the teams participating therein.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Frankly speaking, because it is a deemed university, apparently the structure seems to be an expensive one. But as the students get on knowing the expenses incurred by the college for arranging seminars, lectures and all those events and celebrations, it seems to be enough good.
Fees and Financial Aid
Absolutely No idea about about such facilities. As I'm not aware of the newer admission process norms adopted by the college, this must have also got changed/amended as per the needs of the students.
Campus Life
Campus life is cool. Comparatively smaller campus but the happening one as around there is a school, a management college, a pharmacy college, a printing press of University, and 11/12th College also. The campus is allotted with an enough big ground, a canteen. The whole campus is surrounded with a lot of greenary around. The atmosphere is very much friendly and relaxing.
Hostel Facilities
Being a Localite, I did not go for hostel facilities. But those are much similar to the other law colleges in Pune. I think food quality can be improved. Cleanliness is enough good. This is based on the discussions with my friends staying at the college hostels.
Alumni/Alumna
One of the stronger Alumni networks this college has.!! Absolutely, Whenever the college calls the alumni meet, alumni always gather at largest extents in all the campuses of the University, at Pune, Delhi and other places. Regular interaction with these alumni takes place over social media and other mediums.
Exam Structure
Exams should be tough, and they are so, when we are in New Law College. I would rate that toughness Level as 7.5/10. the papers structure for our batch was the genuine one by Bharati Vidyapeeth. But the Recent Batch onward it'll be like NLUs again.
Faculty
Faculties are all well qualified and the tested ones. Many of them have completed their LLMs and Ph.Ds from well known institutes like Symbiosis and ILS. The Dean Sir himself holds the record for Triple Gold Medalist in LLB, LLM and Ph.D. Faculties are very much students friendly.
