Remarks

Good College for the young aspirants those want to make the career into this particular field, As we know that Event Management is a different course, where we are getting the dreams to live. Got the carrer guidance in a proper manner and right time so that got the chance to work with a renowned company.

Entrance Preview

I have given the IIEM Aptitude test where scored 89% and got the 10% scholarship into my tuition fee. I have opt for this particular college due to one and only college offering me the full time regular course into Event Management and secondly it is located into the heart of Delhi - South Extension Part -1, so commuting is not a problem coz metro is just half km from the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Intuitions is offering UGC recognised courses, with the ratio of 30% and 70 % practical approach. They are offering the regular classes on daily basis along with the practical exposure of live events.

Internships Opportunities

Nice Experience I had in internships, they have given my internship into Fountain Head & Lavanya Events. Both were the wonderful companies and i got the chance further for the placements into the same companies.Generally recruitment event companies are coming to hire students for the placements as well as internship.

Placement Experience

I got the placement into Fern & Petals, where as I got 30K + Incentives per Month. Presently I am working here into the company as Business Development Manager and getting the incentives for cracking the deals. In my institute, I have learnt the techniques how to build the early relationship with my client, which is actually giving me added benefit during my working.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yaa got the Scholarship as I have mentioned, got the discount into my tuition fee. Even These peoples are very flexible if sometime I was late to pay due to shortage of funds, they allow to me to attend the classes and with nominal fine of 250 rs only.

Alumni/Alumna

Our Alumni and Senior Students were very help full and cooperative during my time, they help us to understand things well and guided us for the better opportunities.

Exam Structure

Generally exams are held twice in year - Internal Assessment (IA) and Formative Assessment (FA), We have enjoyed the examinations too as they were more practical based and it was fun. Examination are on the continuous basis and was wrapped up in 7-10 days. So it was fun and the enjoyments.

Faculty

Great place to be there, as faculties are from the industry and they are sharing the practical case studies for the previous and current events, good amount of exposure I got from there.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

Placement Experience:

The unique selling point of this college would be placement. Big companies come here for hiring and take a bunch if students among them, the students who have completed their first year are eligible to sit in placement Companies like Delloite, Black Rock, loreal, Federal Bank, MRF, and many more visit every year for placement with an average package of 8 to 9 lakhs. The highest package one student got is 33 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is 80-100 percent, depending on the time. My plans after my degree are the same as many students to get placed in a good company with a good package
