Remarks

The admission process is somewhat not good. The only improvement needed is that all the documents submitted by students should be arranged and packed by staff officials and not the students. The documents examiners should also behave properly to students and their parents.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose diploma course in C.S.E. because I like computers and tech and today's generation totally relies on computers and technologies. The faculty here is good. The student ratio is also good, in our batch total of 113 students are enrolled which daily strength is 110. All faculties are b.tech graduates and even Ph.D. (s). Their teaching methods are good, we get to learn interesting things daily apart from our subjects. There are 2 semesters in a year and in one semester there are 2 internal tests which are not so difficult at all, if you study well then you can pass them easily.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There is no company except Infosys which gives internship opportunities here. Infosys has given many opportunities and is also giving today. They provide internships for various roles according to their company's internship program with an average stipend of 7k-10k per month. At the end semester, everyone has to make a project which gives a major boost to our resume and course completion which results in better placement opportunities and also better internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

3

The placements here are good. From the 5th semester all the students are eligible for placements. Companies like Infosys, L&T, Jindal steel, TATA steel, and many others come for hiring and give good placement offers to students. The highest package has gone to 5LPA given by L&T and Infosys and the average is 2.5LPA by other companies. Every year a total of 50-70 percent of students get placed by these companies from this institute. After completing this course I have opted for pursuing higher studies which are B.tech by the way and the reason is that I only want to obtain a b.tech degree for a higher pay scale by these companies which are not well in diploma courses as compared to b.tech.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is good as there is only 2605 rupees per year (for any branch) and this course is only 3 years. I don't know about hostel fees but heard from a source that it is affordable and the hostel is good. There is no mess or canteens so no mess charges. There is also no transport facility so no charges for that. During counseling, if one has chosen TFW(tuition fee waiver) then the overall fees get reduced to 400rs. only from 2605rs. per year. (only for those who come under Sc/St, OBC, or EWS). For those students who didn't opt for that TFW, they can apply for e-kalyan scholarship under which they will get some 7k to 10k rs. (only for Sc/St or OBC or EWS). I am currently in the 5th semester so the placements will take place in the 6th semester, but heard from previous senior batches that placements are good and well organized. Companies like Infosys, L&T, Jindal steel, etc. come for hiring and give a great amount.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life here is not that great at all but good in some manners. There is no annual fest or tech fest taking place but many festivals and other National days are celebrated with great enthusiasm. Books and journals of all types are available in Library, one can read there and can also issue the books from there but you must submit the book before leaving college meaning after the completion of your course for not doing so will result in fines and obstruction in obtaining your certificates and other documents. Classrooms are well lit and ventilated. Big halls are also there for big lectures by external faculties. All classrooms have full benches and tables and in each classroom, there is a projector for smart teaching. There are no extracurricular activities apart from ones which are conducted by TATA Strive for their soft skill training program. There are no social groups or websites run by students here but all are connected to each other through WhatsApp groups and Google classroom.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are very good. Every year companies come to our campus and select many students for their company. But if there is no campus selection offered then we can apply for a job in different companies. We got a scholarship from the college. On our college campus, some big companies like BCCL and TATA come over there and offer you a very good job. The highest package company offers you depends on your performance in the interview. At least 75% of marks need for placement.

Placement Experience:

In this college, Placement is not good at all because of the location of the college and also due to the new college very less amount of companies comes for placement. In the Batch of 2018-21 from Electrical Engineering, there was 5%to 10% of students were placed. The highest package was 2.5 lakh p.a and the average package was 1.2 LPA. The recruiting companies are Ceat tyre, Hitachi, Mando Automotive. From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. My plan after getting a degree is to prepare for Government jobs like State Je, Railway, SSC etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I said I opted for the CSE branch because from the very start of my school life I was having an interest in computer science so I opted for the CSE branch. In my college, there is only 1 section of the CSE branch. Most of the teachers are BTech holders and a few are Ph.D. also.

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Infosys, ultratech, and many more are made offers for students. The average package is 3 lakhs and the highest is 10 lakhs. Every student who got more than 70% is eligible for getting placements. My plan after getting degree is to prepare myself for PSUs and Govt. Sectors.

This college provides the best placement. This is the very first year of our college placement and this college gave maximum student placement in every branch. No one is disappointed with their placement. And the best thing about that in this pandemic Coronavirus our college provided online placement so that they can give maximum student placement.

Teacher & coordinator support alwaysThe college is overall good. Everything in this world comes with a bad or a good. So overall my conclusion is that if you can then this could be a better option for you. A few problems will be there but as a student, you need to learn to solve them for a better life.
