In all the labs like electrical lab , electronics lab , hydraulic lab , civil lab , computer lab all equipments and accessories are present so students can learn efficiently.

Dislikes

Their no extra activities held inside the campus. No sports , no dance, no fresher parties. Simply no extra curriculum activities.

•I choose this college because it is very old college, it is made before the independence of the india. And one more reason is to choose it because it is situated at the capital of the state. • My first preference was this and i got it in first counselling. •If you want to take admission in this college then you should to give a competitive exam conducted by jceceb named jharkhand polytechnic.

Water point and toilets are available in each floor for boys and girls

Lack of management in college there is no auditorium in this college
Here are lack of lab assistants due to this good equipments are wasting in this college

Likes

Lab equipments and practicals are very good as compared to other government clgs in jharkhand
Campus is very green and the environment is very clean.

Dislikes

The campus is big still they don't have any auditorium or any other indoor place for gatherings.
They don't provide extracurricular activities for students.

Admission:

The entrance exam for this college is very easy and the cutoff list for the entrance is not very high students can crack easily and get a seat here. The reservation for St, Sc and women is also available here And I think the process for admission is very lengthy they should make it short.

I have applied for this college because this college is a well-known college in Jharkhand and also has good placement opportunities. I avail SC category quota to take admission in it. For taking admission to this college you should first qualify for jcecb entrance exam then you have to attend counseling where you can choose your favorite college to take admission then you can visit the college and take admission on it with a valid document. You must have passed 10th (Madhyamik) from a recognized board (should be a Jharkhand board candidate or resident). You must appear for the Jharkhand Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Exam (PECE/DLCECE) conducted by JCECEB (usually in May). Admission to Polytechnic Ranchi (and other institutes) is based on your rank in this exam, followed by counselling and seat allocation.
