Curricular activities and social and science based events are organised time to time in college. The college prepares students for real world by pressurising them by giving assignment and projects The exams are not too difficult it can be passed by just studying a night before exams

GP Dhanbad is rank 2 college in terms of placement expect CS and Civil Our college places 75% of students of metallurgy , mechanical and electrical branch They got the better package of about 15000 -20000. CEAT tyers, TATA steel, hindalco are the few companies come to hire the students

There is no course fee is charged in our college only admission fees and form fill up fees is required which is charged by JUT Admission charges categories wise are SC - 1st year - 400 ,2nd year - 1200 , 3rd year - 1600. ST - 1st year - 400, 2nd year - 800 , 3rd year - 1200 OBC and General - 1st year - 1400 , 2nd year - 2600, 3rd year - 2600 Form fill up fees are same for all categories Which is 500 per subject for all semesters And there is also a scholarship which is provided by government is ekalyan for SC/ST/OBC

Science events, maths day , engineering day are the name of the few festivals which are in celebrated in college. Semester books and study material is not provided by college students have to buy the semester books. Infrastructure is average.

GP Dhanbad's hostel is average they provide a shared room of three person beds , tables and chairs is provided with room. Hostel fees is 1000 per year and mess charge is 2000 per month. Students have to give application for hostel to college faculty then college release a list of students who got the hostels according to the distance of their hometown.

I have applied for many other colleges in my seat counselling such as GP koderma GP Ranchi GP adityapur GP Bokaro But GP Dhanbad was my priority college and that I got confirmed admission here. I have choosed this college because this college was rank 2 college in terms of placement and my favourite branch CS was available here. My college admission process is very simple first you have quality Jharkhand polytechnic entrance exam once you get qualified the exam you have to apply for seat counselling to favourite branch and favourite colleges And once you got selected in counselling for this college then you could go to get admission in GP Dhanbad college.

Our college is very helpful and approachable. Our college 's best faculty is our principal sir. And our hostel warden is worst faculty. External Exams are conducted per semester There is total 6 exams are conducted in entire course

Our college is around 1km far from market which is bekarband. There is a park name bekarband park is 1km far from college in east direction. GYM, cafeteria is on walk distance from college. College open at 10:00 am o'clock
