Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum is good but i think a lot of portion can be skipped because all the students tries to study the main part and skips those above specified portions. They try to finish off the portiobs as fast as they can do or atleast most of the faculties. That's all.

Internships Opportunities

I really dont know much about internship but they provide it in the end of 5th or 6th semester. Recently the civil department had gone to lavasa, pune for internship.

Placement Experience

2

Companies like l&T,Nissan,Microsoft, Tech Mahindra etc. I dont know about tge packages but not many are getting placed. Only under 15 to 20 are getting placed every year. Not much good reviews are heard. Some of TGE companies dont want to come over again.

College Events

3.5

Many events have been conducted in Cufe like Darpan which is a dance competition. Then ethinic day where everyone can wear cultural dresses. In bloom is another event conducted national level cultural fest. Magnovite is a big national level tech fest where many colleges from bangalore loves to join and many other debate competitions and cultural fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible. Fees through entrance Rs 137000 for 1 year. Fees through management Rs150000 for 1year and Rs200000/- for 1year. And for NRI seats it varies. They provide fee concession too which is a very good act and that too we can pay in installments.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus is green, well maintained. The students are very friendly. The labs are kept fine and the sports competitions are conducted always. We have many extracurrricular activities. Students conduct flash mobs at times and sometimes the faculty too dance.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities are very good clean and well maintained. Food is also very good. The hostel rate for 4 sharing is 30000 For 3 sharing its is Rs35000. And for 2 sharing ut is 40000. They provide north meals canteen as well as south meals canteen with small stationary shops and bakery.

Exam Structure

Exams, labs and all is fine. It goes very well.We have to be on time for every exam.We cannot do any kind of malpractise. If found copying they will cancel 2 exams. They help little in the lab.Hall tickets are downloaded online from the college site. If any fine is pending the hall ticket cannot be downloaded.Other than these no problems.

Faculty

3

Every faculty is qualified enough to take the particular course. Even though there are some rude faculties most of them are really good and caring. Some facultues judge students just by their appearance which doesnt make us feel to respect them but some faculties are just like your friends, they even play sports with students.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
