Remarks

New Government Polytechnic, Patna takes admission through the entrance test which is Diploma Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE). The test is conducted by the Government of Bihar every year. For lateral entry courses, students are admitted through DCECE LE which is also conducted by BCECE Board. Govt. of Bihar. College provides reservation benefits to Obc caste, Scand st caste and Dq students. No admission process is good and easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course because I love computers and the latest technology. New government polytechnic Patna has 35 total faculty. Some are permanent, some are contractual and some are guest faculty. Teachers are research orientated and help their students in every possible way. Their teaching methods are fantabulous and impressive. Term exams are taken each six months and they are moderate. The exam provides the students with a situation of study.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 1565 per year

Placement Experience

From fifth semester students become eligible for placement. Many companies visit our college for placement like Bajaj, Jindal steel,Tata etc. The highest and average package is provided by Jindal steel (5-8 lakh). Those students who do good in semester exams are selected first for placement and they receive good packages. My plan is to get placement after getting my course complete.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

New Government Polytechnic Patna has a minimal fee for the courses however to know about the scholarships candidates should enquire at the administrative office of the college.The total fee is 1500. Scholarship provided to students is a post-matric scholarship and Pragati scholarship.

Campus Life

Monthly tests are always conducted in my college. Monthly fest and tech fest are always conducted in my college in the month of February. Many books and journals are present in my college library along with the latest version. Sport and extracurricular activities are always conducted in the college (sports day). There is many clubs in my college like the astronomy club, horticulture club, etc..

Placement Experience:

After the sixth semester, students become eligible for campus selection. Big companies like Bajaj Infosys etc. come for campus selection. The highest package offered by companies is 800000. Whereas the average package is only 300000 to 400000. Out of 60 children of a branch, only 7 to 8 children get placement. I have thought that after my diploma, do a B.Tech, after which I will take a job in a big multinational company.

Students become eligible for campus placements after 6 semesters. Companies like TCS, Infosys, TWAI, etc. visit the campus placements. The highest package offered by Microsoft was 3-4 LPA and the average package is about 1 LPA. Almost 70 percent of students of the EC department got placed. Overall best option if you are looking for diploma

You must be qualified for Minimum matriculation. I had given the entrance exam held by bcece board. My rank was 200 in general. You can find the application form for the entrance exam on bcece bihar.in I did not get any reservation benefits. I visited the college for counselling online. counselling. The minimum qualification should be 10th passed out for a 3-year programme and for Lateral Entry, you should have to pass Intermediate. The Entrance Exam is conducted by BCECE(DECE) Bihar, the Application fee for the 3-year programme is 750rs and For Lateral Entry it is 2250rs. The Application form comes in the month of May. To Take Admission to NGP PATNA 13, You should have got rank of less than 500. The state quota has its own reservation like EWS, SC, ST, EBC, and BC Other state students can also apply for it. Yes, I think there is a scope for improvement in the admission process i.e At the time of counselling, there should be at least 70% marks in the 10th criteria for taking admission in NGP PATNA 13....Read More
