Remarks

The college has incubation cell that recieves funding of about 1 crore from government of India to provide space and funding from college in order to promote start-ups at an early age. Negative remark would be the lack of advance infrastructure i.e pc and labs are with outdated equipments

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is descent in all things, but not research oriented Yes it is hectic but that is all college is about (time management) i.e one needs to manage his test scores of all exams, assignments, self study, coding coaching classes and it's assignments and time to enjoy thus preparing you for the bitter world

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements and job opportunities are ample up till now(can't say after COV-19) almost all students have gotten jobs before completing there graduation and obviously those with better skills are awarded with good packages. Almost around 50 companies give a package of more than 10 LAC/ANNUM YES college does provide internships but most of the companies of internships are of top branches Thus there are few internships opportunities for students of Biotechnology, MPAE, Mechanical.

College Events

4.5

There are two major fests held 1. INNO RESO that is innovision and resonaz it has activites of both cultural and technical fests. It is a medium level fest as the gathering is not huge 2. Moksha it is the biggest fest of NSIT it is a huge fest of 3 days and it always has great sponsorships thus always making it a great fest with huge gathering and with big music stars present

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of 2018-2022 Rs 150000 ( First year) Followed with 10% compound hike each year It is feasible or expensive depending upon your family earnings, but compared to DTU or IIIT-D it is feasible

Campus Life

2

Yes the college has quite a lot of extracurricular activities during the first and second year one needs to choose a open elective (i.e sports, dance, theatre, EDS, yoga, music, SSPD etc) thus focusing on the fact that an overall development is achieved by the student. The gender ratio as all engineering colleges is low The dorm parties are there but always depending upon your friends group but they happen even in the gaming society (venatus) In the two years of my college life I haven't seen ragging due to the very strict policies followed by administration The college administration is quite strict thus no kind of discrimination of gender, race, religion is there. Yes the college always refrain the students from organizing or protesting on political activities

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I haven't opted for hostels, but according to my friends I have seen that the first year hostel is not at all up to the mark of even average (heavy fines on small mistake, quite an early time of gates being locked on normal college days as well as even during college fests, food is not up to the mark) but the latter hostels a quite in terms of student friendly environment and the food is average in terms of nutrition and taste

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni are very helpful in terms of off campus jobs and internships. Since the alumini network is strong that is the reason college has good placement record. Alumini are also helpful in case you open a start-up in case of funding from other companies

Admission

I chose this course over other due to the possibility of internal upgradation to a technical course

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is well qualified but the main disadvantage is the fact that the college doesn't have advance infrastructure and labs for the faculty and students to do something innovative. But still almost all faculty complete there course on time and if the students are well interested they do teach some interesting things. Some faculty in all branches have a great research background thus are quite helpful in projects and research papers and upon your hardwork many are even recommended to organization like DRDO for internships

Placement Experience:

After the sixth semester, students become eligible for campus selection. Big companies like Bajaj Infosys etc. come for campus selection. The highest package offered by companies is 800000. Whereas the average package is only 300000 to 400000. Out of 60 children of a branch, only 7 to 8 children get placement. I have thought that after my diploma, do a B.Tech, after which I will take a job in a big multinational company.

The students from 5th semester are eligible for campus placement here. The most number of students from here are getting placement in the reputed companies like Aditya Birla , BHEL, Konarks, symphony like many more. The placement ratio is quite healthy here. The package usually range from 2lac to 3.5lac. My plans after getting the degree here is to especially prepare for the ssc je and to pursue further education in reputed college.

Students become eligible for campus placements after 6 semesters. Companies like TCS, Infosys, TWAI, etc. visit the campus placements. The highest package offered by Microsoft was 3-4 LPA and the average package is about 1 LPA. Almost 70 percent of students of the EC department got placed. I plan for both campus and off-campus placements

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose polytechnic civil engineering because it's on-demand in the modern era. It is today's need for any kind of development directly or indirectly. Faculty: Students is 20:1 There are two types of faculties here. One is permanent and another is temporary. Permanent teachers are highly experienced and well knowledged. On the other side, temporary is also well-knowledged and is full of enthusiasm. We enjoyed both. They are friendly and some close teachers are always ready to help us on call or any digital medium. Term exams are held every 3 months. Every 6 months a semester exam is held at a center in the same district. Exams are somewhat difficult to pass for those who don't attend class daily. The teachers and their guides are enough to get the exam passed.
