Remarks
As a Public University it always has a special preference from me and from ranking aspects also it holds a good position in the NIRF ranking list. I was applied for the course through the online mode as no other mode was accepted. In the primary stage of screening, they check the minimum eligibility criteria. The minimum eligibility criteria were minimum of 60% in UG degree along with the score of (CAT/GMAT/MAT/CMAT). In the next stage, I appeared for the personal interview and group discussions.
Course Curriculum Overview
In this two years journey, we had four semesters. The first two semesters were all about core courses and in the last two semesters, I read specialized papers along with core courses. In summer break between the first year and second year, I did a summer internship. In the last semester, we did our research project. Our assessment process comprised mainly the midterm exam and end-term. Although we were evaluated through several in-class assessment systems. Not only classroom teaching but also we did case studies, quizzes project reports, etc.
Placement Experience
The highest salary package offered was Rs.7.5 LPA and an average salary of Rs.5 LPA was offered in our final placement program. All pre-placement talks, training were arranged by our ‘Training and placement cell. They had very much a supportive gesture during the whole process whether it is about internship or final placement. Some of the top recruiters for our department were ITC, OYO, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, S&P marketing intelligence, KPMG, Aditya Birla capital.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total tuition fees for every semester I paid Rs. 51500. Separately, I paid institute fees of around Rs. 22800. At the time of admission, I had to pay some fees of around Rs. 18000 as onetime payment at admission. There were several merit cum means based govt. sponsored scholarships were available for us.
Campus Life
If I had to mention about the details of the campus I would like to mention about our well-equipped library which was a rich collection. Among the different management clubs, I was a member of the ‘creativity club’. We create several business arts there; it was a fun moment for us. Some of my friends actively participated in the sports and cultural clubs.
