To get admission at Women's Christian College, one must have passed 12th grade with atleast 50% marks from a recognized board. For every subject, there'll be a specific cut-off. These cut-off details are usually published after the result ( by the end of April). Application forms for the various courses can be found online on the college website. Application forms are generally issued 5 days before the date of result publication. The application fees for U.G and P.G courses are around Rs 200.

The faculties of the English department are highly qualified. Most of them are doctorate holders with several years of experience. The college is affiliated with Manonmaniam Sundaranar University(MSU). The faculties try to teach the subject in-depth, they even try to make the weak students understand the subject. Totally there'll be two-semester exams in a year ( odd and even semester). The odd semester would happen in the month of November and the even semester exam would be in the month of May.

When it comes to fees, it is much more affordable. Comparing the fees of private colleges for the same course, it is very less. As it is aided course, the fee is around 3,000 rupees. And scholarships are also available, which we can avail. So we don't have to think about the fees. The scholarships are based on merit.

Our college gives much importance to extracurricular activities. We have our cultural fest being held in the first week of February, every year, each student of the college look forward to that time. We also celebrate all the important days like independence day and celebrations would be held for all the functions like Onam, Christmas, etc. We have a huge indoor stadium and sports room, which is really equipped. Regarding the English department, all the classes have podiums with microphones, so that the faculty can take the class with ease.
