Remarks

I took admission in SXC Ranchi in 2021 in BA History (Hons ). The admission process in St Xavier Ranchi was on the basis of a mark, no entrance was taken in 2021. Minimum eligibility criteria were 55 % for Ba History in SXC. I scored 78.2% on 12 th board and got admission to 3 rd list and I am in the 2nd shift. And thanks to College Dunia for keeping me updated at the time of admission. The faculty of Ba History Hons in St Xavier's is awesome.

Course Curriculum Overview

I took History Hons because it is my favorite subject from class 9th onwards. And faculty of the History dept at Xavier's are highly qualified and experienced. There are 4 teachers for History. And approximately 200 students. Divided into 2 shifts. Exam papers are normally of medium level.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 24800 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

At the time of admission, I paid 24800 rupees including 1-year fee and all other fees and charges. Tuition fee is 600, admission fee is 50, electricity charge is 500 and college mid sem exam fee is also 500

Campus Life

The most popular Xavier Utsav is celebrated in February. There is a library on the ground floor filled with thousands of helpful books. And a good space for the readers. At a time 100 students can sit in the library There is rotract club which is involved in social work. And There is also an NCC batallion.

Course Curriculum Overview:

They provide all the three courses but as to which stream is the best then the answer would be Humanities . The teachers here are brilliant and very easy to understand for someone like me with a bit of ADHD .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to become a teacher so I chose this course . I will get graduated as well as get teacher training simultaneously. I will save 1 year in this integrated course. The curriculum is well prepared and gives us all the skills and knowledge required to become a good teacher. Exam happens every 6 months and difficulty is not too high . We can easily score good marks if we give 1-2 hours daily .

My memorable journey of St. Xavier's, College, Ranchi.

For my course, selection was done on the merit basis. Any student who has completed his high school with 90+ marks in English was eligible for this course. The application form, fees, and dates, everything is appropriately available on the college's website. Yes, if you belong to ST/SC you are given reservation and relaxation in the cutoff. Exans are held regularly in a proper manner. The difficulty level of the exams conducted are moderate to high. Admission process involves both online mad offline process and sometimes takes couple of days. It should be resolved and made easy as students come from far places....Read More
