Remarks

My experience in college not only prepared me for my career, but it also prepared me for life outside of my career. I gained skills that cannot be taught. Through interactions with fellow students, professors, internship supervisors, and coworkers, as well as other college staff.

Entrance Preview

First I had Selected in Mumbai University UDP- University Department of Physics merit list no. OBC- 15But due to long distance I had took the Admission in The Viva college, Virar M.Sc (C.S) (I have an quiet interest in computers and technology)Thanx to your hard work, without it would not be possible for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It is very good, but I think some rules should be added for Lectures. like more strict on attendence, every student should obey the rules if colleges make extra restriction on Technology say Banned of Mobiles etc.

Internships Opportunities

It is very good opportunities to all the dear Students to test their skills and confidence levels as some of them were MNCs like Wipro, TCS, Infosys.Thanx to my college and faculties who made my day.

Placement Experience

4

During the campus selection there were lots of jobs opportunites and their were some reputated companies or one can simply say MNCs like Wipro, TCS, Infosys. The package was very good around a 3 to 5 lacs.

College Events

3.5

There were lots of events held at the our college, we love and enjoy with other staff too, there was special program say Udaan. Rangoli, Singing, Sports indoor and outdoor etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is very important term if we are talking about the students. Fee is little bit high in terms of their courses, government should give fee concession and govt. can charge it later while the student once get his good job. Dont pay full fees, we will collect after getting the good job.(Govt. should do this).

Fees and Financial Aid

In Mumbai University there are lots of scholorship offered to the Merits students. If the students really had a good skill one can achieve that goal. Thanx to Mumbai University For reserved candidates also there is scholorship benefits.

Campus Life

3.5

The College infrastructure is very large and neat & clean too. We students altogether gathered, enjoy a lot whenever we have a free time or no lectures. Workshops conducted by the colleges are very less, should increased.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

For the post graduation students there is very less time to do a self study due to lots of seminar and lectures hostels capacity intake should be increased.

Well from 3rd semester students can apply and visit different companies previously, haidrabad, banglore are visited by our seniors. Students get salary of 30000-40000 ,there are students selected for multiple high rated companies. 30-40% Students get placed. I want to pursue Phd from India as I am more focus in research.

Placements in Fergusson are pretty good. Students are eligible for sitting in the placement drives from the 3rd semester, we also get Pre-placment activities and tests before the drive starts. We get companies like Axtria, Vois , bluepineapple etc on campus. The highest package is 10 - 12 lakhs and 4-6 lakhs on an average. In my batch out of the 30 people we 20 are placed so far on campus.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the GIPE are decent. This year the highest package offered was 18 lakhs per annum by Deloitte and IDFC FIRST Bank. Although the placements are not 100% but it's around 60%. Students need to work hard and score well in aptitude test and they should start the preparation from the second semester onwards so that they can easily manage their end semester exams as well as the aptitude test. The average placement package is around 8-9 lakhs. My plan is to get a corporate job and gain some experience and exposure in the corporate world and learn how the things actually work. Many companies that come to the college are looking for data analytics role. The ratio of the companies looking for consultant, risk analyst is less based on market demand and other circumstances.

Placement Experience:

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.
