All About Galgotias

After 12th I visited Glagotias University for enquiry then I liked the environment and study environment. At the time of admission, I had to fill out an online form which was 1100 rupees after that the minimum marks criteria was 75% marks in PCM, there were no criteria of JEE Main only you have to get 75% or more marks in your CBSE 12th exams. After verifying my all documents and mark sheet (10th mark sheet, 12th mark sheet.) I had to pay 25000 rupees as a token fee. This 25000 was further added to the college fee. I had to also pay 1000 rupees as a fee for the ID card.

I joined my classes from 10th of Oct'21. The classrooms are well equipped with the modern facilities and the teachers are also good. Some teachers are not up to that marks means they have the required knowledge but they don't know the way of teaching. Currently I'm in my first semester. Rather than other colleges the labs of my college are much equipped with required computers and other tools. In my class there are. 75 students and the classroom is enough spacious for all of us. The term exams are timely due to covid we had given our exams online. Questions are really tough but they are not out of the topic.

In my college recently IIT Kanpur came for an internship and took approx 400 students for internships in their different internship programmes. There are many big companies who come to our college and take students as interns. Sincere students can easily get internships as well as placement. Some big companies like Microsoft, Flipkart and Amazon also comes to our college for internship students can also apply off campus internship.

Many companies visit our campus like Samsung, TCS, Microsoft, Apple, Google, HCL, and many more. If you're good at studies then you don't have to worry you will be easily placed. Students start getting placement from the 3rd year and you can start an internship from your first year. The highest package given in our college is from Amazon which was of 48LPA.

As being a Private university the fee is a lit bit more as compared to other govt universities. For b.tech you have to pay 1,59,000 for one year. You can get a loan from the bank as well as if you're from Bihar you can apply for Bihar sarkar student credit card loan scheme and if you're from up you can get a scholarship from the UP govt. Many companies come in our college for Placement the average package is 7-8LPA. College is quite expensive but you can enjoy your college life very well.

There are many clubs in our college. I'm a Member of 3 clubs. You can join the club of your interest all you need to do is to just give a simple interview which will be taken by your club heads who are mostly of 3rd year. Our library is really huge we have 4 libraries for separate departments. When you will come to college you will be greeted with a fest known as Prarambh then after a few weeks, you will get the most awaited Fresher's Party officially hosted by the college. Every month we have some parties and fests. As I mentioned earlier you will enjoy your college life very much.

If you need an answer in one word then it's a big NO. The hostel is equipped with all modern facilities but they don't work properly. The equipments in the gym are broken or it is much crowded. In the TV room, you will get seniors always. The food quality in the mess is very bad it is tasteless when you will come first in the mess you will be very impressed but after some time you will start hating it. Warden is also very rude in behaviour. Some rooms are big but some are quite small. If you're familiar with the warden then you will get a mattress and pillow otherwise you have to buy it for yourself. There are many PGs and Hostels available outsides which provide much more facilities at a low cost. In the end, I will suggest you live outside. Because when you join hostel only you're allowed to leave hostel is after 1 yr.
