Remarks

As college is government there is a little red tapism. For submittion of forms or fees I faced huge ques. But teachers and seniors both very supportive and coordinative best thing is our principal sir have also create a whatsapp group of some active students, whom he used to give updates about upcoming events, ask for feedback and listen complaints if any.

University commerce college is a constituent college of Rajasthan University for getting admission in this college you need a high percentage in your higher secondary i achieved 86% in 12th standard and I know that University commerce college is a reputed college so I took admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

BBA is a professional degree course curriculum is divided into 6 semesters each semester you need to study 6 subjects.

Internships Opportunities

This is a drawback university commerce college Doesn't offer and doesn't have tie ups with companies for internship although college organizes skill development programs like personality development program, Bombay Stock Exchange skill development Program which assist students in improving their skills as well as their portfolio.

No placements for bba students however for BCA students Infosys is doing campus drives for bba students college is now talking with some companies for the placements. But currently there are no placements for the students.

College Events

College frequently organizes national seminars and various skill development programs many dignitaries from the various universities are invited college also-ran organizes essay and poster competitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As University commerce college is a government college fees if very low for BPL students college also provides scholarships for B.Com students fees is just 6000 a year, for bba it's 17600 a year and for BCA students it's 22000 rs including lab fees and examination fees.

Yes for BPL students scholarship is provided by college but for availing scholarships you need to be regular in college and you need to maintain 60% or more.

University commerce college is a boys college. Campus life is just ok in July and August college gets busy due to students elections. College used to organize essay, poster and power point presentation competitions. College sends students in various colleges for inter college events there are lots of seminar and workshops organized in college. University commerce college is very active in organizing sports events specially Cricket tournaments.

Hostel Facilities

Yes there is residential facility charges are economical note as I have not taken any hostel and mess facilities so I don't have proper information on that.

Alumni/Alumna

College is having a very big alumni network many students who passed out from University commerce college are now at good positions. Kalicharan sarraf who is a minister of ministry of higher education rajasthan is one of the alumni of University Commerce college.

Exam Structure

For the BBA students exams are conducted twice a year copies are checked in university of rajasthan the drawback is Exams are conducted back to back now gaps are provided between the papers full week gets booked for the exams.

Faculty

Faculty is good as they used to teach us via practical examples mostly they used to relate every chapter with some current practical examples.

NIIT University: A Student's Perspective

Likes

The campus offers a huge campus of 100 acres with a lot of sport activities with gyms .
The university works towards sustainability and the whole campus is covered with a lot of greenery
The university allows the students to interact with people from different cultures and backgrounds .This will surely further help us in our personal and professional lifes.

Dislikes

The major problem living in a 100% residential university is staying away from your home and people you care about. This leads to severe homesickness.

Placement Experience:

The university shows an incredible record of 100% placements every year since its inception in 2009. Companies like Amazon, BlinkIt, Hungama, Grant Thornton and Deloitte often visit the university and make several offers to the students.

My first thoughts about NU

Likes

I do like the facilities offered in the university of proper clean hostel rooms,toiletries,etc.
Faculty and other staff is really polite,helpful and generous.
This university is not only good in placements,education and faculty but also in sustainable living and use and practice of environmental friendly techniques.

Dislikes

Sometimes you need to adjust with various things like new environment

Placement Experience:

This is the college that provide over 92% of placements and not only this bit a 1/1.5 year industrial practice that will increase our skills and if someone have any issue in getting a placement this university will provide your referral and help you till you get placed.

Internship provided by our great college

Likes

College is surrounded by the aravali range on the three sides and they have maintained it really well so it's really green all around.
They select only few students in each batch so the classes are really interactive and teachers are always available.
There are night out on weekends so we don't really feel that we are being restricted in the hostels.

Dislikes

We have to walk all the way to the main gate to collect our blinkit and food deliveries.

Placement Experience:

After the second last year , for the last year college provides the industry practice where the students often get pre placement offer and they offer two types of IP 6 month and 1 year both based on students preference .

JKLU A HIDDEN GEM UNIVERSITY OF RAJASTHAN.

Likes

The infrastructure of the Learning Resource center and the football ground are very amazing . The friendly behaviour of the teachers allow us to contact them easily. Also the students here are so friendly and seniors were also supportive and noce.

Dislikes

The limited resources for sports and lack of machines in the gym. Thats all I dislike

Placement Experience:

From the start of the second last semester of the university you are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Khatabook, JK group of companies, reliance, visits the university for placements and make a generous amount of offers to the students. The highest package in BBA was given last year to a student was 14.5 lakhs/PA and the average package lies between 5.5-6 lakhs/PA . 100% of the students who sit in the placement gets placed by the university. Mostly students don't get placed when they like to pursue higher studies after graduation. After graduation I would also like to start preparing for my MBA.

One of the best college in jodhpur

Remarks:

Overall the college is good. One may find the fee structure a bit high as compared to other colleges in jodhpur for the same course but the faculty is brilliant and I personally prefer semester system as it keeps me involved in my studies throughout the year, and internal exams supports on this process and allows shift burden of the syllabus on last exam moments.

Review of my college

Remarks:

The SPU College is situated in the Falna town of Pali District. The college offers a variety of courses out of which all are good. The college is government owned, thus it is quite affordable. Placement of the college is not that good, the buildings are good but infrastructure is just like other colleges.

Good Place to learn and perform

Remarks:

Regardless of the techniques used for teaching soft skills to students, one thing is clear increased global competition and the changing nature of most of the jobs have made soft skills more than simply a nice to have. These skills are a must have. It was a good place to learn as there was a lot of emphasis on studies and discipline which was a bit of different than the regular college life.

My overall experience at university commerce college

I applied to university of Rajasthan for B.com admission. I got confirmed admission in university of commerce college Rajasthan and it is a government college with very low fees and good academic reputation under Rajasthan university I did not want to reject from any college i applied to as my 12th percentage was good which met the cutoff easily . The cut off for university of commerce college B.com general category is usually around 75-80% but it varies each year The admission process is very sinple. It purely merid based online admission through Rajasthan university UG portal. You have to register online, fill in your details , upload documents and choose college preference . Based on your marks, the cut off list is released and if your name is there, you visit the college for document verification and fees payment. There is no entrance exam for B.com...Read More
