University Commerce College, established in 1956, is an ‘Only for Boys’ constituent college of the University of Rajasthan. The University Grants Commission recognized the college as “College with Potential for Excellence” in the year 2011. The college at present has about 4340 students enrolled in courses such as B.Com pass course, B.Com Honours, BCA, and BBA.

The college boasts of many achievements in the fields of sports, NCC, NSS, and scouting. Advance Learning Centers: The college, with the help of UGC and University, has developed a smart classroom, Language Lab, and a research facility. Teaching tools such as interactive boards, visualizers, multimedia projectors, and LED presentation systems are available in these advanced learning centers.
Library: A library with almost 1.7 Lakhs of books, journals, and magazines is available on the campus for the students and teachers. Bhartiya Chintan Anusandhan Centre is also present on the campus which has its own collection of books and journals.
Sports: The college has 2 large playgrounds for the students along with a dedicated sports department. Students can participate in sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Handball, Judo, Hockey, shooting, etc. The college provides opportunities for the students to take part in all the sports competitions at the University and National level.
Security: Advanced security system with CCTV cameras is present on the campus along with a continuous power supply and backup system.
Units of NCC, NSS, and Scouting are present on the campus.
The college also has provisions to conduct national and international level seminars, conferences, and special lectures on the campus to aid the students in all-round development.

My overall experience at university commerce college

Likes

The campus life is decent with some students activities, Nss, and sport events and cultural programs. It is a boy’s college so there is a good participation in events and activities.The infrastructure is sufficient for government college
My experience at university commerce college, Rajasthan has been good overall The college has a good campus with spacious classrooms . The teaching faculty is very experienced and supportive.They explain concept clearly and also guide us for exams
It’s have large lecture rooms ,halls and a big playground

Dislikes

One negative is that no placement opportunity for students also a drawback is that college lacks modern facilities like smart classrooms , washrooms and canteen also needs a major improvement
The washrooms are not clean and are poorly maintained
The canteen has limited food options and hygiene

I applied to university of Rajasthan for B.com admission. I got confirmed admission in university of commerce college Rajasthan and it is a government college with very low fees and good academic reputation under Rajasthan university I did not want to reject from any college i applied to as my 12th percentage was good which met the cutoff easily . The cut off for university of commerce college B.com general category is usually around 75-80% but it varies each year The admission process is very sinple. It purely merid based online admission through Rajasthan university UG portal. You have to register online, fill in your details , upload documents and choose college preference . Based on your marks, the cut off list is released and if your name is there, you visit the college for document verification and fees payment. There is no entrance exam for B.com

The college is situated at the prime location so any need of student can be resolved in minutes.
