Remarks

You have to a minimum of 55% marks in Science in 12th. I applied through the CEE AMPAI Website. Application fees Rs.500. The application starts in June-July. There are General OBS SC ST EWF reservations. There should be negative marks in the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the pharmacy course because I like the medicine department. I like to study medicine. The ratio of student and faculty is about 6:1. The faculty is very good. Most of all are PhD holders. They try to teach flip teaching techniques. There are 8 semester exams the exam are a little tough.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is a little high when I admit then the fees are around 450000 Rs. But now the fees are very costly. There are all Government and private scholarships available. There is also an available Bank loan facility with minimum interest.

Campus Life

Every year there held an annual fest organized by final year students. There are very good facilities in Library and computer internet facility. And also available many premium journal site access. Cricket football volleyball badminton and indoor sports held. And many extra cariculam activities like tree plantation, orphanage oldage home visit, help poor people etc.

Placement Experience:

1. 7th semester but more accurately 8th semester. 2.Cipla,Sunpharma, Tata1Mg, Frankrose, MedPlus,Alkem, Glenmark etc 3. Minimum 8 YGPA 4. Higher education is the primary aim but if i get some appropriate job opportunities then think about them also.

Placement Experience:

Gitanjali college also gives adequate placements opportunities. Opportunities comes from many sectors. Appolo, Med plus etc. are common and easy opportunities. Beside them Mainly Production companies like Macloids, Sun Pharma etc also conducts interview for their production units every year. Interviews are arranged for 4th year students only. My plan is to continue my higher studies.

Gnipst review

I have applied for institute of genetic engineering for the same course BSc genetics but I to admission in Guru Nanak institute of pharmaceutical sciences because they are the only other colleges in West Bengal who provides BSc genetics as their course and I choose this college because this is under GIS group and this is well known in West Bengal. I did not get any rejection from the other colleges I applied.
