Remarks

12th pass students can apply through the rie cee website. Applications are usually invited after the class 12th board exams. So keep checking the riecee website. As there are 6 RIE in India. So the students of northeast, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand and Andaman and Nicobar will get seats in rie bbsr. Likewise, south Indian students will get seats in rie Mysore. Your selection will depend on your state rank, category rank at the cee entrance.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I choose this course because I want to be a teacher. If you also want to be a teacher there is no better platform than RIE in India. Faculty is average every dept. Has 3-5 teachers. But mainly run by the contractual teacher but they are good and work hard to complete your syllabus. every teacher is well qualified and does not doubt it but not everyone is best at teaching. Internal exams are helpful in time but the semester is not in the hand of college. Usually, the university held it late so nothing the college can do about it.

Internships Opportunities

4

In the 4th year, internships were provided at the Different JNVs to every student of the 4th year. They go there and play the role of teacher and experienced themselves as a teacher. However, this internship is not paid till date. But authority's are planning to make it paid.

Placement Experience

4

4th year students during their last semester time are provided with placements. I don't know as I heard many private schools visited during campus placement to get the teachers and offer a contract. As I heard 15k-35k salary range was provided by the schools during the placement. Many students choose higher studies for masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

Admission fees is 13500 for the general and for sc/st it's 8500. And the hostel admission fees which you have to give once in a year is nearly 10000 . And you have to pay you mess fee monthly of 2100. I also have heard that scholarships were provided but no idea who gots it.

Campus Life

4.5

The college is situated at the main centre City of bhubneswar . So big malls and cinema halls, parks are every where so you can explore lot here . It is NCERT based college so many programs were held time to time in auditorium . college has a big Library and almost every book is available there Library opens from morning 9 to 8 o clock night. If you love to sports then you will enjoy a lot here. Extracurricular activities like poetry, drama , dancing , singing held time to time.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

One room 3 students . In starting you will find difficulty to adjust 3 persons in single room but as time will fly i can bet almost 5-6 guy will spend lying in a single room . Honestly the food is exactly the food of hostel. Like you can't find panner in matar paneer. During admission you will provided the hostel there 3 hostel for girls and 1 hostel for boys. You can rent a room near college but it will cost you more and you will become a day scholar and you most importantly you will miss the funs and enjoyments of hostel life .
