Remarks

If you have more than 75% in boards you can directly get admission without writing the exam which is exclusive to amity. You can find the admission form on the main amity website the application fee is around 1000 and mainly they are active from the march. I do not have any information regarding the reservation benefits. If you have good marks then you'll be getting scholarships.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to do aeronautical and they have good equipment that's why I opted here. The faculty will be taking care of even the smallest doubts you have. Most of the faculty are PhD holders and are IIT passed outs with good knowledge in the subject they are teaching. 1 midterm and 1 end term examination and the course are 8 semesters.

Internships Opportunities

Many students go for internships that are available not from college but still college does provide internship offers. in summer you can work with the faculty on the project they are working or you can present your project idea and they'll help

Placement Experience

no matter what branch or stream you are in you will be provided with opportunities regarding placements. Many major companies visit the campus during the placement drive. faculty helps with the placement offers

Fees and Financial Aid

This course may not be for everyone as per semester the fee is 1.25 to 1.75 lakh. this is understandable because this branch has good lab equipment and other facilities which are not that easy to come by.

Campus Life

There are 2 main events on the campus one is Aminova and the other is Technicia. both of them are conducted in the month of Feb. we have an online e-library where we can find almost every book needed. the entire college is centralised cooling.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are dorm systems with 3 rooms and 1 room with 2 beds, 2 cupboards and 2 study tables, with an attached washroom. food quality is good if not the best. once you enrol you can just apply for a hostel through the college student portal, per year it is 60000 for non ac and 100000 for ac room. Indiabulls Society is famous for nearest pg and rented rooms.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.

Good infrastructure and facilities

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for the campus from the seventh semester. The companies visited in the core sector are Triveni Turbines, Manas Agro Industries, Bosch, Mecgale pneumatics, and Antony waste. The highest package was up to 4 LPA and the lowest was 2.2 LPA. 30% of students get placements during the Covid period. I got placed in a power plant and I m working there.

Amity University Mumbai : is it worth it?

COVID-19 changed everything, including the college admissions scenario. So, I was in a bit of a mess. I did not study well for exams like JEE, and my 11th and 12th foundational concepts in maths n physics were not so good. MHT-CET was a big gamble, which did not go according to plan. But I had to get into a college, and I wanted one in Mumbai. Amity University Mumbai seemed to be a right choice. It offered direct admissions, which was of great relief for a student like me. It was located at Mumbai, and the structures and facilities were good enough. The admission process was pretty smooth; one applied online, forwarded all documents and then counseling and seat was granted there. The Amity experience: Highlights and Insights

I had applied to manipal university, nmims university and amity University. And I honestly I loved the subjects and the curriculum the best here in amity. Moreover, the course that I was interested in had just started in manipal and nmims university hence I wasn't sure about how the course would turn out and amity on the other hand had this course for over 5-6 years which gave me the confidence in the effectiveness of the course. I got accepted to manipal and because of some technical glitch during my entrance for nmims, I got rejected from there. Studying- A fun adventure at Amity University, Mumbai

Eligibility: 60% and above in 12th boards. Students who have completed their 12th irrespective of any stream can apply. All the details of the application form, fees, and dates can be found on their website- Not sure about the reservation benefits but after you apply, you would be assigned to an admission counselor who guides you throughout the admission process and clears all doubts. Regarding the application process, there is an entrance exam that wasn't related to the course, it included essay writing on any general knowledge topics. After which there was an interview where they ask basic questions related to the course such as, why did you opt for this course? Who is the father of psychology.
