Remarks

There are no specific subjects required or specific marks required for admission. But if you want to pursue b.com honors you should have some specific subjects and specific marks in some subjects For admission, you have to visit the college office. College should help the students in the admission process because for the new students the process will be a little complicated.

Course Curriculum Overview

In total for the first semester you will have 4 subjects, Accountancy, business studies, and the other 2 subjects are can be selected by you. I choose b.com because I wanted to go for M.B.A in the future. This college has a good faculty for the purpose according to the number of students. Most of the faculty is from the same college and very young. The classes are going online for the whole year from the last year due to Covid. There is a total of six semesters and each semester has a gap of six months. The exams will be not that easy but if you study you can pass easily.

Internships Opportunities

Due to the lockdown, the internships were online on google meet. And in my sense, it is the best thing a college can do in this situation. As I'm in the second semester right now I can't specifically tell about the internships and stipend.

Placement Experience

The companies visit the college campus for the placements of the students in their 5th semester Tata is one of the companies that visit campus for placements. Most of the students get placed as it is one of the best colleges in Jamshedpur. I will do M.B.A after B.com

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is very less according to most of the colleges, annually you have to pay Rs 7500. If you don't have much money to pay for the college fees you can talk to the college principal who will help you out with the fess compensation.

Campus Life

Due to Covid 19 the college can't arrange any fest this year, but every year college arranges spark and other fests. The college has a wonderful library from which you can borrow 2-3 books at the same time. The college has NCC and handball and many other sports events every year.

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

Our goal is to be courteous and appropriate and these guidelines are flexible.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Concentrix, reliance jio, Yamaha motor Pvt Ltd, v Poddar, and associates, etc visited my college for placement the offers made of about in starting 20000 to 30000 salary will be given. The highest package is of 100000 and average package is of 50000 they offers. 80 percent of students getting placements. My plan is to get job in one of these companies after getting the degree.

Remarks:

This college is near to my home and have good reputation in commerce. Its a renowned college for commerce. The fees is also very less here. The maximum fees here is 2000 yearly. There is no need for entrance exam here if you want to join UG or PG. But you have to give entrance for vocational courses. For entrance you should have just scored 60-70% in your previous board exam. This is the most driving factor to take admission here.

Life at karim city college jamshedpur

Actually I applied only for this college because it is nearer from my home and actually this college is quite famous in my hometown and i didn't apply in another college because this is kolhan university and the education is good in this college. Karim City College. An Affordable Option for Mass Comm Aspirants

The most important factor was the affordability compared to other colleges including within-state colleges as well as Inter-State colleges. Also, the Faculty was very inclusive as I took last-minute admissions and they were happy to take me in. The admission process was fairly easy they took the mandatory marksheets of Std 10th and 12th also the Aadhar Card and Parental Details and the fees were paid in Cash. Later after the payments I was provided with the prospectus and Other Information.
