Remarks

The online application form is issued every year accompanied by an entrance test. The syllabus is as per 12th and reservation is given as per state government standards. Need to be in touch with the website for applying.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have a keen interest in history. Faculties are quite good and one of the best in the entire zone. Each and every doubt gets cleared whenever asked. The teaching method is awesome as they keep explaining until the concept gets cleared. Exams are always held on time and the syllabus is always as per the CBCS system.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 22190 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

In the fifth semester students become eligible for placements. Companies like TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, and many more visit campus for placements. Placements are given to students on as high as ten lakhs per annum also. Interested students mostly get selected. I am preparing for UPSC.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are hiked as per the need. It's not the massive increase. I did not get any scholarship or financial assistance as I am from the general category but students from SC ST and OBC categories get scholarships from state government.

Campus Life

Campus life is one of the best in the entire zone. Xavier Utsav is celebrated every year in February. Books and journals also get published every year and are available for all. All the classrooms are equipped with projectors. Clubs like Geo Club, Rotary Club, NSS run in college.

They provide all the three courses but as to which stream is the best then the answer would be Humanities . The teachers here are brilliant and very easy to understand for someone like me with a bit of ADHD .

I wanted to become a teacher so I chose this course . I will get graduated as well as get teacher training simultaneously. I will save 1 year in this integrated course. The curriculum is well prepared and gives us all the skills and knowledge required to become a good teacher. Exam happens every 6 months and difficulty is not too high . We can easily score good marks if we give 1-2 hours daily .

My memorable journey of St. Xavier's, College, Ranchi.

For my course, selection was done on the merit basis. Any student who has completed his high school with 90+ marks in English was eligible for this course. The application form, fees, and dates, everything is appropriately available on the college's website. Yes, if you belong to ST/SC you are given reservation and relaxation in the cutoff. Exans are held regularly in a proper manner. The difficulty level of the exams conducted are moderate to high.
