Exam process was based on valuay marks obtained in the last examination (50% in all subjects), entrance exam,followed by personal interview when it was offline.Now it is Online procedure, Reserved seats for ST,SC,OBC,etc. Make sure you wear formals for interviews and it is conducted in the Department of political science.Best college in Ranchi, Jharkhand,North India.Autonomous college under Ranchi University.S.t Xavier's College not only focus on educational development but also overall development.All semester exams were conducted offline during COVID-19 .Classes were conducted online with attendance.Attendance of 75% is compulsory for sitting for a semester credit based papers.St. Xavier's College, Ranchi is a Minority Educational Institution based on religion which is established and maintained by the Ranchi Jesuit Province of the Society of Jesus.The College is registered by the Ranchi Province under the local title 'Xavier's Ranchi' under the Society's Registration Act XXI of 1860
Course Curriculum Overview
Political science is a subject best base for competitive exams (UPSC, JPSC, other state examinations). Professors are extremely helpful and guide each and every student.There are more than 10,000 students and Political Science has atleast 300.Professor are highly qualified and the way of teaching is a blessing for students studying in St.Xavier's College, Ranchi.But there are limited seats.Terms exams are easy if you have answer writing practice.
Internships Opportunities
You can get a chance to work in companies like Wipro, Infosys, Tata etc. About 5-6 Lacs per annum is the average package you can get in on-campus placements. Internship is also available for junior professors.
Placement Experience
The placement percentage of the college is around 94% .Accredited with NAAC with "A Grade" .My plan after graduation B.A is to take admission in the same college for M.A. Further my plan is to appear for competitive exams like UPSC.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is not very high like private colleges and Scholarships are provided to reserved quota students through E-kalyan by submitting caste, residence,last year marks sheet,other details with latest income certificate.

Xavier's Fest as usual is the biggest annual fest of Jharkhand, Library, smart classes for technical departments, National Service Scheme, Rotract,AICC, others clubs, website for all purposes from admissions, results, fees payment,etc.
Interview Experience
It is nothing very hard you can take help from YouTube videos, Current Affairs for analysis or overall data based points or values.Criteria of admission is a bit lentghy but this will help you in developing skills.
