IIT Bombay is ranked the third best institute of India by NIRF. I was just wanted to be part of IIT Bombay at its operation program are well known and it is one of the best in India. The placement record of the college is also superb. Candidate must clear CAT exam and must have secure minimum of 60% in graduation from any recognized institution followed by GD and PI round.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the college is of international industrial standards. IIT Bombay operation domain of the MBA program is really good it cannot be compared with any other institute that is why I have opted MBA from IIT Bombay. The curriculum is proper blend of traditional and modern theoretical and practical industrial concepts.
Internships Opportunities
The college also provides an internship program. Student after completing the first year is eligible for the internship program. The internship stipends range from Rs. 45000/- maximum up to Rs. 3,00,000/- depending according to the tenure of the internship. Companies like Barclays, CITI Bank, Delloite, Accenture, EY, PwC, Infosys, Samsung, Amway, Wipro, Loreal, Marico, etc visit the campus during the summer placement drive. Most of the students receive pre-placement offers also.
Placement Experience
The college provides tremendous placement opportunities. The placement that we receive in IIT Bombay is un-comparable. The college placement committee is so much dedicated that they are aware of the students requirement and interests. The highest package for our batch went up to 55 LPA and the average package was around 25 LPA. IIT Bombay provides you with the best return on investment.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides scholarships to merit students under Merit Cum Means Scholarship Program. The college also provides scholarships to SC/ST/PWD students. Campus Life
The college campus is beautiful and surrounded by greenery. There are lots of cultural, sports and technical events in the college which is not possible to describe in words. The events of the college are very popular and every student waits for the annual function and sports events of the college. The campus is well equipped with various different kinds of amenities like a cafeteria where most of the students spend their time, play ground modern library, a modern computer lab, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is too good. The rooms are available on single occupancy, Rooms are cleaned on daily basis. The hostel wardens and staff are very cooperative and helpful. The food of the mess is tasty and healthy. The menu of the mess is very vast and full of flavours. The hostel is equipped with 24 hours if high-speed internet connectivity. The hostel is equipped with all kinds of necessary facilities that can help students to spend a comfortable time in the hostel.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is extremely talented and experienced. All the faculties are of PhD level and they have good industrial exposure in their respective field. The faculty of the college are mostly from IIms or IITs. The faculty and student ratio is 1:20.
