Remarks

College fees is very high. They charge extra charges two three times per sem. They don't care poor students of colleges.

I want to clear the GATE and take admission to high level insitutes like IIT.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want admission to electrical engg. It is my core brance and 6 year studying experience in this field.

Internships Opportunities

I have 6 months intership experience of chemical factory name "punjab alkalies and chemical limited" , Punjab.

Only one company of electrical come in college. Its name hydrofab ( elevator india). It's located bhadurghar (gurgaon). It comes in campus february months. Only 3 students are places out of 12. I also attempt the process. But their process some abnormal take interview all students at same time.

College Events

Manarva festivals. Its only college level. But they show off college status by invite punjabi top singer.

Fees and Financial Aid

Some scholarship are available . But they are only publicity of college in newspaper. They give only one sem . After they stop. If marks in exam is low.

Campus Life

Campus like is best. Many state himachal, haryana, punjab are studing. Sports activites only university level not college level . Competition of education is high.

Hostel Facilities

Hostal is good. But hostal fees is high. It is 75000 per year included all mess charge and rent. Mess food i like it. It is good.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

They are good and friendly with us. I give full rate them. They spport us and help us.

Good campus life with decent academics

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.
