Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is not as per my Expectation. Here all subjects are not being studied in detail. College Management told Teachers to prepare notes for students and dictate those notes in the classroom (like in schools). Teachers don't have deep knowledge of subjects. Teachers have less knowledge of the subject that they are being taught. Some teachers can't even write English and got jobs in college via corrupt ways (like politician references).
Internships Opportunities
The internship was not as per our expectations as the company which is giving the internship sent us to another company. The stipend for which they commit us will not get paid. The working environment is not good in the company.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunity is only for BPO and some low-paying companies come to give you job on a contract basis in Chandigarh, Delhi, Noida, etc. Those companies want a bond of 2 yrs in CTC Rs 8000/- to 10000/- without mentioning increment.
College Events
Every year colleges organize Tech Fest, some kind of ritual Celebration. I participate in tech fest as an organizer. My challenge was not cracked by any single teacher in my college. But a guy from another college was able to crack some part of it and won.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very expensive. Below are some compulsory charges paid by students Tuition fee of 30000, internet charges of 1000, and bus charges of 4500 - 7000 for those who are in the same city.
Exam Structure
The theory is very important to get a score in the PTU exam. It must be Bookish. Here notes got won. Here cramming skills will make you a winner. The exam will always come from the previous year's 2-3 exam papers.
