Eligibility- 50% in PCM/PC& Vocational subject The application form is available on the college website and on the Mumbai University website The infrastructure of the college is average. Placement is good here as all eligible students get placed. The average package is 3.6 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview

EXTC is a good field. In this branch, you get to study electronic and telecommunication subjects which are quite interesting and also you get to study some of the IT subjects also. The college faculty is nice professors are nice and supportive.

Internships Opportunities

College used to provide internships to students in various companies but now due to covid they are not providing any internship and students have to find an internship on their own which includes both paid and unpaid internships.

Placement Experience

Placement is nice here as almost all the eligible students get placed. Many MNC's such as TCS, WIPRO, LTI, Infosys hire students from our college. The highest package is around 8-9 LPA and the average package is 3.6 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you get TFWS then you are lucky because you have to pay only 10% of the fees. Fees for unreserved students is 14000. And for reserved category students is 65000. If your family income is less than 8 LPA then you get a scholarship from the government in which government gives the 50% of your tuition fees. And if you are a Muslim student then you get a minority scholarship also.

Campus Life

Ambrosia is the annual fest of this college which happens mostly in the month of March. The college has a decent library where you will get all the books and journals which you want. Gymkhana is also there but it's of no use because most of the time it's closed.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
