SBM NMIMS Mumbai Review

The admissions procedure is straightforward. You must first register for the NMAT test and then for the NMIMS exam. The NMAT is a computer-adaptive test with three sections: Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, and Data Interpretation - Logical Reasoning. For the year 2021, the threshold was 235. If you pass the cutoff, you'll be eligible for WAT and PI. I didn't take any reservation benefits. No improvement is needed as such in the process.

The course content is quite extensive. I am doing Marketing. It equips pupils with a broad range of information. The student-to-faculty ratio is 1:15 here. Case study learnings and guest sessions from industry professionals are included in the curriculum. Everything goes according to plan. The faculty is mostly Ph.D. and has a wealth of knowledge and is always available to offer advice and support.

Various firms come to campus to recruit students for internships. Companies also provide enticing stipends where the highest compensation was 1.5 lakhs (for 1 month) last year, while the average stipend was 75,000. The internship is provided in roles like Sales, IT, Auditing, SCM, Inventory management etc.

Students are eligible for placements in their final year. Every year, a number of returning and new recruiters come to campus to offer students job opportunities in a variety of fields. The top CTC was valued at 37 lakhs, while the average package was valued at 18.55 lakhs. The NMIMS has a total of 700+ placement records. Internships and contests provided PPO to 35% of students. Google, Microsoft, Wipro, Accenture, Marico, ITC, etc, and other companies come to campus.

The fee is around 21.90 lakhs for 2 years. It's the same as at other business schools. In general, there is a 50,000 increase in fees every year. The college assists students in obtaining loans from a variety of banks. Students are also offered positions with good stipends (apx. 70,000 - 1,50,000) and CTC (16 lakhs to 35 lakhs) by the college.

College life is fantastic. Various departments host a variety of festivals and events throughout the year like Euphoria, Bubaroo, Mr. & Ms. NMIMS, etc. Every year, an annual sports meet is held. Cultural cell, social responsibility cell, wellness cell, dramatics club, music club, dance club, fashion club, photography club, and other clubs and cells exist. Students can join the clubs and cells that interest them. Books are sent through courier in online scenario.

A written ability test (WAT) and a personal interview were both required (PI). There wasn't any GD for me. Farm laws, Union Budget, Olympics other topics were discussed. Basic hygiene and general awareness questions were asked during the interview. These rounds may be thoroughly prepared for by using numerous websites and applications. You should be informed on current and general topics and then you are sorted.
