Remarks

I had cleared my HSC (Science) and given CET as an entrance exam for entering into Engineering domain. The college assisted in a nice way when I went to enquire about various courses provided by college and also in the admission process. I had applied for EBC scholarship where my tuition fee for the whole year was waived off. The Faculties at college are great and helpful every time.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I had my keen interest in the field of Electronics throughout the beginning of my high-school. The faculty at MHSSCE are superb and are helpful at any hour of need Most of the teachers hold PHD degrees and some are still pursuing. The teaching method is traditional but the faculties make each and every attempt to get the topic well cleared. We had tutorials every weeks based on which we were assigned scores Besides, this we had 2 units and 1 end sem exams at the end of each individual semester.

Internships Opportunities

2

Our college used to provide internship opportunities but at our time due to pandemic, there were no opportunities given. So most of the students opted for internships by working from home without any stipend.

Placement Experience

5

The students are applicable to sit for recruitment drive from 7th sem itself. Many of my colleagues got selected it MNCs like LTI, TCS, WIPRO, Hexaware for the role of system engineer trainee. Many of the students who were sincere and well focused from the beginning of the course had got offer letters.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was applicable for rashtra shahuji shikshan shulk abhiyan (EBC).where the tuition fees of the year was paid by the maharashtra government. I got placed in TCS at the beginning of my 7th semester itself which was an on-campus opportunity.

Campus Life

4

We had various committees at our college like entrepreneurship development cell, IEEE committee, etc. They used to held various events throughout the year in the college which made learning balanced and enjoyable.

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
