Remarks

100+ years of institute's legacy, Placements at par with other good IIT's like IITK, IITR, IITB etc, lite academics, branch change compartively easy than other IIT's.We had second highest number of selection in GSOC this year among all institutes among the whole world(you can refer to their website for stats)Great coding culture, we even had a ICPC team in world final 2019.Best option to prefer over IITG CSE, IITH CSE and IITK EE.

Course Curriculum Overview

Professors are all Ph.d scholars with about 8-10 years of experience.Teaching with ppt's doubt solving and much other personal doubt solvingeasily accesible professorsComputer Science and Engineering covers all different courses realted to CS field and everythinng for placements into ur dream company.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. I will be interning with Samsung Bangalore next year in my summers from may to july.Internship oppurtunties come from top notch companies like sprinklr , Uber, Google, De shaw , Samsung, GOldman Sachs, wells fargo, amazon , walmart

Fees and Financial Aid

Almost same as other IIT'sapprox. 100000 per semester with additional mess charges Scholarship is available for all students whose income is below 6 LPA of their familyand to all SC, ST and EWS students as well. Bank Loan facility is also available.

very good facilities ,Proper cleanliness , Mess food with a lot of variety and everyday menu changes. three time food breakfast , lunch , dinner.......................................................................

A good choice for quality education and career growth

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from the 6th and 7th semsester the college has a dedicated placement cell that organise training sessions resume building workshops mock interviews and aptitude class to prepare students for placement Many companies visit the campus every year , including IT and sevice based comapnies . The most common roles offered are software developer technical support, data analytical and trainee enginer. The avaerage package can go upto 7 lakh while the highest package can go upto 52 lakhs . Around 70-80% of students get placed through campus drives while other opt for higher studies , internships or off campus job . The placement process is smooth and well organised bh the college. After completing my degree , i plan to either secure a good job through campus placement or improve my skills for better off campus placement.

Placement Experience:

My college has an average placement of 6LPA. Placement eligibility starts from the end of 5th semester, but when I got promoted to 5th semester, placements declined due the the restructuring in placement cell. So our batch missed the opportunity to attend any placements. In year 2022, the highest placement was around 22LPA and in year 2023, it declined to 9 LPA as there was restructuring in team. After getting my degree I will look for carrier opprotunities on my own, as I have not experienced any placement in my college years.

I choose iit bhu because of iit tag string mining dept and most imp the campus life which felt better than other options i have . I have options of few iits like iit dhanbad and all but iit bhu stood out the most from all other iits in terms of everyaspect as it has strong placements records and aluminia base with lots of supported startups.
