Remarks

The college is known for strict rules and regulations and if anyone wants to violate the rules and regulations, he will be punished. Some of the students are punished, monetarily penalised and restricted from the college for violation of the rules and regulations as well.

Entrance Preview

There minimum age to join this course is 18 years. There is no upper age limit. Many colleges demand that students should have a domicile certificate but Ashoka does not ask you for any such thing. Students who have cleared their class 12 with more than 55 percent marks can apply for this program.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course is fully useful as it gives full education- practical and theoretical, which gives us a good exposure to meet the demands of the organisation we go for placements.

Internships Opportunities

We get industry exposure as we get assignments to visit industries and make reports on them. No other sort of internships is provided by the college in this case.

Placement Experience

3.5

Many companies visits every year for recruitment. This year, the placement started from September and Saint Gobain was the 1st company to visit the campus. Two students got selected there. About 60% students are already placed till January and still many companies are in the pipeline. The highest salary so far is 5.2 lakhs per year and the average is between 3.5-4 LPA.

College Events

3

so many events take place at the campus like cleanliness drive, dance competitions, gol gappa eating competition, and the fests which alone holdsa great importance when there is live music, DJ, food and so many activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for the whole course is about 5,70,000 which is approximately similar to one of the other science colleges as my friend told me who is studying in kurukshetra university.

Fees and Financial Aid

They say that they have more than 50% students who have availed the scholarship but I have met only the 5% and I don't know anyone who says it's true that they offer so many scholarships because they just give you a concession if you ask them

Campus Life

3.5

The campus had all the facilities required. The quality of labs is moderate, and classrooms are also average. The quality of food available is good at reasonable prices.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel rooms are fully enabled with wifi, geyser, ac and other needful things. The mess and canteen facility gives us healthy food which suits us. Rooms are decent and no infrastructure issues were faced during my tenure at the college.

Alumni/Alumna

One of my friend's brother was an alumni from here and that is how I got to know about this college, else I would have taken admission somewhere else. But he said that this college is one of the best decisions he made for himself.

Exam Structure

Various interactive options are opted by faculty for teaching students which include case studies, presentation, assignment, visits, etc. Other than these we have to appear for the exams as well which are quite tough.

Faculty

4

My overall experience with the faculty was too good. They really know what students are in need of. They have good knowledge and are well experienced. They help every student in their need, as they are 24 hours available on calls. And in day time, we can easily approach them if we want any help. They use powerpoint presentations to teach. As our classes are enabled with wifi and projectors, so it's easy to give examples by showing us various ads as well videos. The student-faculty ratio is about 10:10.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I enjoyed physics and maths as a school student so chose BSc course including the studies of all three- Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The modern physics part and the practical aspect of mathematics intrigued me. Though the curriculum of maths wasn't that comprehensive and was majorly all theory based. Maths syllabus can be enhanced by practical applications of examples rather than just be all about the theorems. The teaching method was good. The frequency of maths exam was 3 per semester, with three full books syllabus to be covered for each exam with mostly theory.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If i talk about my couse then i study in bsc (medical) which is a good course, we studies botany, zoology, chemistry, physics also we are nep student so we study more subject. By studying bsc we came to know my real life experiment like knowing about species, real life incidents etc. I suggest my teaching staff that they have to focus more in practical classes not on theory classes because students are more interested in them.
