An important view

KEC has good placement record with around 90% and above placements. This AKTU college places rank holders in the AKTU Rank Holders List almost every year. This is the result of dedicated staff and management. The teachers are well educated and guide students for the exam and placement. Special classes are conducted for GATE and placement exams.

Curriculum is decent, teachers are well educated and management is ever ready to take decisions for student's welfare. Good teacher-student ratio, periodic tests to monitor student's performance. Teaching Method is simple and effective. Focus is on the overall development of students with different activities.

I did my internship with DRDO, this was not a part of college program but I applied for it by myself. College do provide with few internship, not many. Students have to find the internship themselves. College do motivate students to take up internships to make a good profile. Techers also guide the students for the same.

Students are eligible from 6-7 semester in the placement drives, it depends upon the company's requirement as well. The placement cell is very active and informs the students about every company coming in the college. Around 90% students get placed, among those not placed are those students who have different plans like that of post graduation or government job etc.

Any student with 80% or above in yearly exams is given scholarship, scholarships are also given on economic basis. Companies are invited in the campus and students are guided to participate in the placement.

KEC has a decent campus. Conducts various activities and fests for overall development of students. Have different clubs and programs like Drama club, dance club, photography etc. KECIANS are really active in sports and extracurricular activities. There are some Instagram and Facebook accounts run by students for students.

Hostel rooms are simple with great focus on hygiene and cleanliness. Students are being taken proper care of. Medical facilities are good. 24*7 security. Registration of hostel has to be done at the time of admission itself.

A written test was taken before admission. This test had simple question based on 11th and 12th. It also included some aptitude and English comprehension questions. After the written test, the result was declared and then there was a discussion with the faculties for the stream.
