Remarks

Firstly it was the best option i had and various other factors such as Infrastructure,Location and also Zero Ragging Campus,There was an anti-ragging team to prevent ragging and my parents wanted me to get good exposure and develop soft skills so i choose this college.Staying in my hometown i wouldn't have gained the exposure i have gained.And has a good record for placements too being located close to Sri Perumbdur-an area with lot of industries and factories.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is good but little outdated i think like around the 2010s,You get to choose your faculty and that's a really good facility like studios ones can select the good experienced faculty and the average ones can pick the ones who are lenient with grades and attendance.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Placement Experience

Really good companies visit the campus for placement.Google,Microsoft,Amazon,Delloite,CapeGemini,NTT Data and all mass recruiters visit,Also for the core departments-Siemens,Apollo,John Deere.alumni network is very active very recently continous updates are always given.there ie alumni meet and alumni interact with student for placement roles,etc

College Events

Aaruush,Milan the two biggest fests in campus.They are student driven so a really good oppurtunity for students to learn and experience the corporate life and other stuff.Top fests in India with around 75k overall participation throughout the year for their various tech,non-tech events.

Campus Life

Grass topped Cricket and Football fields,Full sized athletics track,Indoor Badminton court with AC and table tennis rooms.Labs are good enough for programming capabilities and Fabrication bays and also mechanical workshops.Lot of investment in research facilities-its a really good and most needed in engineering campuses.

Hostel Facilities

Kaari,PF,Oori and Sannasi(yes it is sannasi) lol.Good rooms,Good Ventilation and mess food is also decent.Actually they kill you with sambar all 3 times a day.But there's a lot of other options too so chill.You have 2 sharing.3 sharing and 4 sharing options and rent varies with the option.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the southern indian most famous chemical company is there in our circle and other chemicals companies are there. other then this reason I like the chemistry subject and exciting to learn. In our chemistry department teacher give good preparation for the semester exams. My point of view the exams are easy to write excepting only few subjects.

This college I have a great placement because already have a senior who passed out with the Hike package. They are trained us to achieve our dream packages in higher MNC company. Suppose if you didn't place on any companies college will provide you a great working opportunity in academic campus that is great average package in this college placement is a three lpa that's more enough for an bachelor student but the higher package of this college in arts and science is 15 to 20 for engineering is 58 this is the highest package in Coimbatore

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
