Remarks
IBS provides great exposure to the young minds who want to establish a mark in the field. The admission was really simple as it required 50% marks in 12th standard in English Medium. My brother also did his graduation from IBS and suggested me to do the same.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was specially designed to develop our skills and mind set in the field of business. All the professors were experts in the subjects they taught. We too had our doubt clearing sessions every week so that no topic was left unclear. Exams were based on both the practical and theory parts.
Internships Opportunities
There are 2 summer internship programs - one at the end of first year and second at the end of 2nd year. I went for both of them. In the 1st internship I worked as a Sales Associate and in the 2nd, I worked as a Marketing Associate. Both internships helped me a lot in deciding my forte.
Placement Experience
Top MNC's came for the placements during the week. 85% of the students got placed in my batch and the highest package offered at that time was around Rs.402000. For the BBA stream, various roles were offered such as Business Analyst, Sales Consultant, Marketing Associate.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of entire 3 years was around Rs.650000 during my graduation. I availed the merit based scholarship in which the reward amount was Rs.25,300. I didn't applied for any on campus job during my graduation.
Campus Life
Life at IBS Campus is good. All the buildings had latest infrastructure and classrooms were are equipped with computer, projector and mike for the ease of teaching of the professor. Campus Library is equipped with every book you will ever require for the completion of your assignments. Trishna - The cultural and Management Fest is organized every year by IBS students. It is a 3 day event involving lots of fun games, activities and events.
Hostel Facilities
They have in-campus hostels for both boys and girls. Rooms are big and spacious enough for sharing. Quality of the meals was also nice. There are no PG's nearby so the only option is to live in the hostel or have a long travelling time.
