Remarks

B.Tech in CSE is a good course and it requires JEE MAINS/WBJEE rank, science stream in 12th, and 75% Marks in Higher Secondary Exam. Both online and offline admissions are available so that every eligible student can get admission here.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.Tech in CSE is a very future-proof course for getting jobs in IT companies and I always wanted to get a job there, so I chose the course. Very good faculties are present here in the college. About 10-12 faculties are present in each deaprtment and the number of students is about 60-70 each department of each year. Every faculty are well qualified and their teaching quality is very good and very easily understandable by students. There are 4 Internal exams and 2 lab exams that happen every semster and students who attend classes regularly, can easily pass out the exam.

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

From 3rd year, students become eligible for placements. Wipro, TCS, Infosis, Microsoft are the companies that visited the college and they made about 200 offers in total. The Highest Package given was 28000/month and the average was 20000/month. Almost 80% of the students got placements from here. My plan is to persue M.Tech after getting the B.Tech degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Course fees are 30000/- per semester and during admission 20000/- college admission fees. Every student who gets 75% or above in a year, they are eligible for applying in scholarships. Campusing happens every year and many students get jobs from here.

Campus Life

Both Annual fest and Tech fest happen in the college in April and August respectively. The Library stocks are pretty good and every student gets books from the library each semester. The classrooms are very good, clean and fresh. Annual Sports and Cultural programs also take place every year and students who participate in this get a certificate for participating also.

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

A GOOD COLLEGE WITH GOOD PLACEMENT , SPORTS FACILITY.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
