Remarks
The admission is based on your CMAT score. Candidate must have 50% marks in any stream of a bachelor's degree from any recognized university and followed by GD/PI round. You can fill admission form through the college website or by visiting the campus. PTU Jalandhar is quite popular for its impressive faculty and infrastructure.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is designed according to the requirements of the students that properly sync with the latest industrial norms and standards. The classrooms are spacious. The teaching method is very friendly the case study, group discussion and role-plays teaching methods help students to understand the corporate environment.
Internships Opportunities
You are placed on internship programs with the help of the college placement committee after completing the internship you have to submit written assignments about your experience and learning during internship programs. I was also lucky enough to receive a stipend of 28000/- for my 7-weeks of the internship program.
Placement Experience
The college placement committee is very hardworking and friendly they help you a lot during the placement drive of the companies. Companies like Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, TATA Motors, TCS visited the campus. The highest package was 15 LPA and the lowest was 7 LPA. I was lucky enough to receive a package of 10 LPA from Accenture.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides scholarships on the basis of Merit scores. There are a number of scholarship schemes available you can visit the campus or the college's official website for more details about scholarship programs.
Campus Life
The campus life of PTU Jalandhar is good enough. Freshers parties and colleges sports competitions are some of them that every student waits for it. The library is full of all kinds of knowledgeable books.
Hostel Facilities
The quality of the food in the mess is balanced and the food is very hygenic. The rooms are very well cleaned and well maintained. The students are provided with all modern facilities.
Faculty
The faculties of the college are of the Ph.D. level. They are well experienced and most of the college faculty have industrial exposure. The teaching methods of faculties are a little unique they do not just believe in the academic development of students but motivate students to take part in extra-curriculum activities in the college.
