Remarks

Good scores in your under graduation degree is important, the application process involved a WAT test followed by an interview round with 3 panelists. I dint avail any reservation benefits. You have to fill fees for the NMAT exam first and then fill the application form for NMIMS Mumbai. The cost of the application fees is Rs 3000. Overall the process was smooth. The interview went on for 30 minutes.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose MBA finance as I want to make a career in that field. The faculty-student ratio is 1:20. Most of the faculty hold PHDs and come with vital corporate experience. The teaching method involves intense class discussions and case studies. The exams are held once every trimester and they are very difficult to pass. You really need to work hard to pass with flying colors.

Internships Opportunities

The companies that come for internships are Google, Swiggy, Marico, Britannia, Flipkart, pepsico. The roles range from marketing to finance, sales, credit analyst. The stipends range around 1L. The process is smooth and seamless. The highest stipend goes around 1.5L.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements in the 4TH trimester. The companies that come for placements are Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Jubilant Foodworks, Genpact. The average package is around 18 Lakhs and the highest is around 40 L. The college has a 100% placement record.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is 1195000 for one year and the hike policy is 10% every year. The scholarships are provided to needy students having less than 8L of family income. The college claims a 100% placement record with good packages.

Campus Life

The annual fest is called euphoria it is conducted in the month of March. There is abundant availability of books and library resources. The books are shipped to us in online mode. The extracurriculars involve a variety of clubs like finance and investment cell, quizzing club, photography club.

Interview Experience

The topics of GD/WAT involve current affairs and general knowledge. The topic was related to FDI in india. The interview was based on past experiences and why MBA. I took the help of my family and friends to prepare for interviews and WAT preparation.

The college provide some extra certificates like Excel or others which not value for money and also taeches foreign language but not single student can speak after the degree. And also not any facilities can speak german language

Balanced learning and real world relavance

It's well structured but there are areas that could be enhanced to better prepare students for the real world. Curriculum sessions are twice weekly, other faculty are invited to gain information from the industry. Recently, we had our ebek Cambridge exam. Placement Experience:

Currently I am in first year so I have not been placed as of yet but the placemnets for our seniors is on going which is the first batch of MBA HCM and hence I would not be able to reveal the cokmpanies. The few summer internship companies though were Apollo, Nanavati, BMJ etc.

The NMAT test can be taken up to three times each year, with the best of the three results counting. Any bachelor or above Pharma/Biotech graduate with a minimum of 50% marks can apply for the program provided they clear the cut off of the NMAT examination. On the official website of NMIMS, the application form can be found along with important dates. A certain amount of cost is required to be submitted (last year it was 2500/-). To be qualified for the course, you needed a three- or four-year bachelor's degree. On their official website, the NMAT and NMIMS application forms were available. Reservations were not rewarded in any way, and work-ex was not necessary, but it did add value to personal interviews.
