The college is best in its way. Providing good education and helping us with skill improvement programs. Technical talks and many more we can get admission through cet here and also by payment method also.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose to take computer science. The faculty members are all well dignified and very knowledgeable helping us with each and every problem and here we have 3 theory internals and 1 lab internal apart that we have semester exams. I assure you we can pass easily by only listening to the class properly.

Internships Opportunities

Herewith studies we get many opportunities to gain internships through many companies. Some companies come to our college to hire interns and projects are excellent are happening here. By the 2nd year itself, we will get many certified courses.

Placement Experience

Here there are so many companies who hire our students. Like Whirpool Amazon, Infosys, and many more I can assure you that nearly 70% are above students are placed annually. The package may vary depending upon branch and score mini maybe 1 LPA maximum depending on the student.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am applying here. SSP scholarship from the Karnataka government. Other people can apply either ssp or nsp or vidyasiri for minorities and we also get internships here making us more knowledgeable in this Institute.

Campus Life

Here the social life is quite active here. We have so many clubs. Like for our computer science students, we have a group called ACE association of computer engineers where we talk about technical things and we do have workshops regularly and about the library it's vast. We have so many journals and we too have a digital library.

Hostel Facilities

Here the hostel is affordable as I mentioned 45000rs or nearby that may be the hostel fee. And we have to pay monthly 3000 separate for food. The meals are prepared very hygienic and served too nearby college also there are so many pg which are affordable too.

Placement Experience:

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

IIT Dharwad Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.

Average all around but better than many colleges in and around Mangalore
