College With a Brand Value

I am a 1st Year student. I am not liking the college that much. Maybe This college needs many more developments thats why. But its only my Point of view. I hope this changes in the coming Years.

There Was an admission Examination for the entrance to Bcom. From about 5000 Students Only 75 Get selected every Year. And The selection process is Very Good here and You just need a min of 55% Or above to get admission.

No. The College doesn't Provide any Internship. The College has a good brand value which helps the student to intern anywhere Just by showing The id card.

Right now, the college is not even Offering a single placement as it has got started just 2 Years back. But it is expected that within 2 to 3 Years the college will Provide many Placements or Job opportunities. The College is Great for Mass Communication.

Not Much events are Done for the Undergraduate Students. Though there is The expressions and Xurbia a sports event held every year. For all the students. And many Seminars are help too at the XIMB Campus. The best Event is the XPRESSIONS. Students From different College come to attend this event. And For the sports event as well. Colleges from Different states are invited to participate.

If We talk about the fees its a bit too High for a UG Course like Bcom. As this College has a brand Value the Fees is okay with that. But Its not needed to spend so much on BCom. But if we Talk about BBM. FEES are feasible. The Fees for other Courses like Mass Comm. And all it totally Good as they Get many benefits. e.i. they get a DSLR for doing the photography and Are provided with good auditorium.

No Scholarship available By the college till now. As i said Before the College has Started Just 2 Years back so it needs time for development.

Gender Ratio Is almost 1:1. Many seminars are held in the Campus. Xavier's will need more development in the coming years to attract Good students. Sports facility is available in the Campus. Workshops are held in every interval. Quizzes are help almost Every week. And the College is strict regarding attendance. The standard of life in Xavier's is Good. Not That Good though. But its okay. You need to adjust Regarding some aspects.

Hostel facilities are way more awesome here and the mess Food is Good as well. There is a X cafe and other canteens are also available inside the Campus. The Only disadvantage is the college is situated Very Far from the town. So students Cant go out to roam around. So we have got only trees outside with Some villages.

Seniors Have always been Helpful to The juniors In the College. Ragging is strictly Prohibited here. And Its good to hangout with the seniors.

2 Main semester and 2 Mid semester are help Every year. Exam Paper as sometimes Easy and sometimes Tough. Though while leaving the place you get very Relaxed. And there are 2 Quizzes held for every Subject for every semester. And marks get Added. And Many internal exams. You may Get a headache with this.

Faculty Here just Come to give the lectures. They ain't that Friendly except some. The show the PPTS in the Digital Classroom and go line by line. Though they help to make it easier then the book language. None of the Faculty teaches From book. Rather they Prefect Ppts. Quizes a help in every interval Which gets added in the overall marks.
