Remarks

The college has a pretty simple addmission process. We were asked to fill out the online application form after contacting the admission desk which is found on the official college website. The application fees online were about a hundred rupees and the application dates are liberal and are open for a long period of time. The admission process itself is very simple and we were immediately asked to pay the annual fees to start out on the classes.

I chose my course a triple degree of B.sc Psychology, Journalism and Computer science because it has a wide range of opportunities for me to choose from. The faculty: student ratio is pretty decent. We have various lecturers teaching us the same subject. The teaching method of the teachers is pretty good. The term exams are difficult only if unprepared. It is pretty easy for students that have regularly attended classes and kept a track of their CIA marks to get through the exams. There is one mid semester examination and a class test along with an assignment in each subject be it language or electives or the core subjects.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for my particular course was 65,000/- per academic year. The fee structure is also affordable and is worthy of the courses we learn. The quality of education is very good and we receive good exposure towards our subjects. Students are encouraged to participate in Internships even as a part of their syllabus and are sent forward the details for such. The college administration also sends forward important scholarships by the government and keeps encouraging the students to fill them out.

Campus Life

There are a variety of opportunities for students to participate in extracurricular activities. There is the availability of an indoor and an outdoor gym within the campus and a spacious field for basketball football and throwball and hockey. Students are asked to participate in sports and yoga. There is the NCC and the Rotaract Club and students are again encouraged to participate. Several clubs are run by the students themselves like the art club and film club etc.

Facility is very qualified. Faculties from IIM are also there. They are very friendly. They gives us extra support and mentorship after class also
College infrastructure is also good. Full of greenery amd calm environment and location is aldo good.
Placement is also good. And ROI is also good as per the fees.

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic. And hostel timing is also short for returning.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also there 240+ recruiters come for campus placements. Average package is 8 to 9 lakhs and highest package is 17 lakh. We have Industry trajectory programme with big 4 like Kpmg GT etc

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food

It was good professors and friendly teaching staff
Campus life is good, it provide new opportunities and has events and various clubs
Everyone here are good and friendly and is a lovely place to study

Dislikes

Hospital is far from college, which is again not an issue as they send bus service
It can give and provide more opportunities
Hostel facilities can be improved and they can build few more lecture halls

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Great coure , great college , better life

Likes

Library is well furnished with lots and lots of book.there is well furnished chairs and table like compartments where students can completely isolate himself and study. There are thousands of books in library
Study room is provided at the top floor of the institute. It is really clean and there are separate room like compartments where students can study well. They can even discuss in group if they want
We have a cafe inside our institute. Here we can have tea and coffee to relieve ourselves

Doctor is a noble profession , the mere respect which we get by being doctor is one of the prime motive for me to pursuade this course Aside from physiology , anatomy and biochemistry we have a e t c o m which is a type of curriculum which is thought to us in which we learn to deal with different situations during our career and they also help us in terms of improving our communication which is very crucial In real life application . Personally for me the curriculum started on September and we had our first internals in January 2nd around March third round me and we had a final exams in August Honestly speaking MBBS is not an easy course , it is really hard, you need to understand the core, and then applied to even in theory and practical exams. concept

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

I chose this college with the reference from my parents and friends. I didn't apply to any other college and i chose this because one thing it's a girls college. As a co-ed student I wanted to experience a girls college vibe. There's no writing exams to get admission into this college the first thing. My college life in Jyoti Nivas College

To be honest, JNC was the only college I applied to when I came to Bangalore. I initially thought of applying for christ university but by the time I approached them, the admission process was already over. I'm glad the courses start a little late at jnc as compared to other colleges. In jnc, the admission process involves two major processes right after you graduate. You need to go for a walk in interview in the campus, however for me, i requested for an online interview as I was not able to be physically present.
