Remarks

I was never really into theoretical mode of studying, and I wanted a straight placement after finishing my studies.

The process starts with fooling you by taking an exam that is so easy that even a 12th pass out will be able to crack.then there are GD and PI rounds which are just a showoff as they take everybody whohas applied for the course

The course curriculum is about the management subjects like Finance, Marketing Human resource, analytics, operations which are further subdivided.

Internships Opportunities

The college provides a platform for experiential learning by inviting companies on campus but the profiles offered are something and the actual work they make you do is something else.

I got placed at ICICI Bank and got stuck there as they made me sit on the front desk like a receptionist and I felt nothing like an MBA graduate which is so pathetic

Events are a boon to the students as the only good thing that happens is the freshers and farewell. I performed on the farewell party for my seniors and they loved my performance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is around 1,50,000 average for an year which has to be submitted throughdraft or you can directly pay through NEFT but for that also the college creates troubles.

Scholarships are offered by a test but that test is quite difficult that not many students are able to clear it. The amount offered as scholarship is low.

Life at campus was not interesting apart from the daily fashion events which used to interest us and distract us at the same time.

Hostel is good. Rooms are maintained. Infrastructure is good. Food is fine. overall hostel service is not affordable though it is good.

To be honest, I had made many contacts with people in the fashion industry during my traineeship programme only! All thanks to my seniors..

Exam Structure

Exams are structured and the seniors provided us all the previous year papers with their notes on the same. Assignments, projects were some of the other testing methods.

Faculty

Their teaching practices are industry focused. The workshops, industry visits, events, etc., are also helpful for those who want to gain hands-on experience in their chosen field.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

Placement Experience:

The unique selling point of this college would be placement. Big companies come here for hiring and take a bunch if students among them, the students who have completed their first year are eligible to sit in placement Companies like Delloite, Black Rock, loreal, Federal Bank, MRF, and many more visit every year for placement with an average package of 8 to 9 lakhs. The highest package one student got is 33 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is 80-100 percent, depending on the time. My plans after my degree are the same as many students to get placed in a good company with a good package
