Remarks
I joined WLCI after lots of consideration and research. My first option for getting a degree in the field of business was going to the US. But the hefty course fee proved to be a big hindrance in achieving my dreams. The next obvious option for me was joining a course that was in sync with the international standards. I did my research and decided to join WLCI.
Entrance Preview
The format for the admission into this course is to clear the entrance exam first and then you are eligible to sit for the GD and PI.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course for the MBA program is quite complicated for finance students as we have to study subjects like Business analytics for finance, cost sheet, balance sheet, accounting for managers, Big data analytics and many more
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internship to students so that they could a gist about how the corporate works and they gain a practical experience about what has to be done in future with the analytics.
Placement Experience
The final placements depend a lot on the marks secured in the exams by the students. The companies that visit the campus for the recruitment are IBM, ACC, QAI, Escorts, Standard Chartered with minimal packages.
College Events
Events that take place in the college are Freshers' party, farewell, Ethnic Day and the college Fest, which is the biggest event of the year as we host a bunch of activities related to the world of fashion and there are other activities like Investomania.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees for the whole year counts out to be approximately 4,50,000 which has to be paid in installments.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship has to be given to students with extra meritorious skill. There is a test conducted for the same and those students who clear the test with high numbers are given a relaxation of a certain amount.
Campus Life
The course stood up to my expectations. The training was very practical and we were given a lot of experience in regards to real-work problem.
Hostel Facilities
There is a provision of accomodation for the students to provide them all the facilities they need, to compete withother students regardless of any stress. the food at mess is great but the accomodation is expensive
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors were always there to help us, by sorting our lives and providing us previous year papers and their notes for the enhancement of knowledge. Thanks to the wisdom offered by my seniors, today, I have successfully started my own company.
Exam Structure
Exams are conducted every year and apart from that it is the real life experiences from which we learn on how to deal with the problems. There are assignments and most importantly live projects.
Faculty
Faculty members are really very hepful and supportive as they provide all the assistance required and they never say no when we ask them about our doubts even if it is the silliest of doubt.
