Remarks
Most of the engineering colleges in TS was linked with the EAMCET entrance exam, these exam results decide the rank and avail the college selection options for students. In my college, each engineering branch has its own cut-off like CSE(15000-2000), IT(14000-21000), ECE(17000-25000), EEE(19000-28500), CIVIL (17000-28000) & MECH(20000-30000) this cutoff related to general category pupils only. The admission system was very good. The staff explains clearly what are the steps to take to join in college.
Course Curriculum Overview
As of interest, I chose EEE in my college. Every branch has its own faculty there is No combined faculty between branches. My collaboration with students is more effective and friendly in nature with us. The most thing I liked from the faculty was responding to each and every student at any time. The teaching method in both labs & classes was good.
Placement Experience
Most of the placement companies are software background only with an average package of 6-7 LPA. Placements are more Convenient for CSE, IT, ECE students only. Around 25-30 companies are visiting for CSE, IT branches, 20-25 companies for ECE, 18-20 for EEE, 1-8 for both CIVIL & MECHANICAL. Placement companies are visited with an above package of 3.5LPA for any branch.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every year we have to pay 13000/- extra for library fees + 76000/- as college fees. The epass scholarship is provided by the government to all category students excluding general category students. End of the course 4th year's having CRT fees(4000) + mini project fee(3500) +major project (5000) = total 12500/- extra. The minimum amount of internship programs are provided to 3rd year students (CSE, IT only)and most of the placements were done to CSE, IT students only in 4th year.
Campus Life
Annual fests are done twice a year which is most exciting. Availability of library books are very low and have a condition "One student has to take only 3 subject books but you have 6-7 subjects in each semester and you have to return books within 20 days" The class ambience was very bad I don't want to explore it. Sports clubs have poor performance because P. E. Ts are useless.
