Remarks

The study at Galgotias University makes the students suited for the rapidly evolving business world. The institute is having tie ups with international institutes in USA, Germany and Australia. I got good exposure by being a part of such a reputed institution. The admission to MBA is by graduation scores and MAT/ CAT/GMAT/CMAT/NMA percentiles.

The common Management admission tests like MAT/ CAT/GMAT/CMAT/NMA are accepted for admission to the MBA programme.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of MBA dual specialization makes the students trained to be apt for any corporate role. The various teaching methods are case studies, lectures and tutorials, seminars, presentations, intensive workshops, fieldwork etc. A flexible Credit System is followed.

Course Fees: INR 159000 per year

Placement Experience

90% of students get placed every year. The Highest CTC Offered in my batch of 2020 was INR 8.00 LPA and an Average CTC of 4.28 LPA. The prominent recruiters are Infosys, NIIT, Vodafone, Aditya Birla Group, BMW, Airtel, Citibank, HCL, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The tuition fee for one year is INR 149000 and the Exam fee is INR 10000. The total fees comes around INR 318000 for two years. But there will be other extra expenses during the course study like purchase of stud materials, internships travel expenses, extra curricular fees etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Admission Merit-Scholarship, Galgotias University Entrance Exam (GUEE) Scholarships, Sports Quota Scholarship, Early Bird Scholarship and tuition fee waivers are provided from the university based on academic scores, extracurricular performances etc. Easy Education Loan Assistance is also given from several financial institutions that has tie ups with the institute.

Campus Life

The campus is having state of the art infrastructure facilities like air-conditioned buildings and classrooms, fully wi-fi environment, computer labs, well equipped libraries, on-campus cafeterias and sports facilities.

The basic eligibility criterion is a minimum of 60% Marks in Graduation Or a Minimum 50 percentile in MAT/CAT/GMAT/CMAT/NMA scores.

So basically in semester 2nd we were prepared for our summer internship and in the month of april and may there were interviews for internships. In June and July we were on our summer internship programs imn oiur respective organization. After 2 months, we came back and within the start of 3rd semester the placements were started. Company visited - Concentrix, Justdial, Outlook, Axis Bank Approximately 10 students are selected altogether in the aforesaid companies. Placement department is not that active which is the reason of such a low rate of employment and job opportunities are not at all being attracted to the university.

I choose Galgotias because of its growing reputation, more affordable fee structure , and active lead intiative like students body club's and ecell which really appealed to me . The admission process was smooth and Fully online and for BBA FIA you just need to have 50% or above in 12th with any stream. I applied to a few private universities like Sharda University, Amity University, GL Bajaj, and Galgotias University. I received admission offers from the three but I choose Galgotias University f I also conidered the infrastructure, location, placement records, Program Fees, galgotias has a tech-driven environment, moder labs and a good reputation for CSE related courses.compared to Amity, the overall course fee more affordable here and the academic pressure seemed better balanced.
