Entrance Preview

I took, UPTU state entrance test and got 186 rank in general category. This is one of the 4 government engineering college in U.P. I choose this over MMM gorakhpur and IET lucknow because the campus of this college is good and also due to hotel which is far better than other.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course structure was as per UPTU a bit lengthy in couple of semesters but overall good. Faculty for few subjects were too good but for few it was ok but i can't say bad. Over all better than other institute in U.P. except IITs and NITs

Internships Opportunities

The internship was easy. It was around 15 companies came at my time and all good names like TCS, Vipro, HCL, IBM etc. The average stipend was 15K

Placement Experience

There was a 95% placement that time and all good companies like TCS, Vipro, HCL, IBM, satyam (that time), accenture etc visited. The avg offer was 2.5 lack per annum

College Events

We used to organize all tyes of festivals in college. My time we organized a sports festival "Travan" and called all colleges of U.P. to participate in that event. Other than this we used to hold several technical and cultural festivals within college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship for OBC, SC, ST. nothing much for general categories but they can get book from library for free.

Campus Life

The male/female ratio in college is 80/20 only. As you can only join through some competition so can find people from all over india. you can find labs for every department and that too ell maintained. extracurricular were nice.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels have triple and double sharing rooms all neat and clean. the fee was moderate as it was a government college.The mes food was awesome. I always loved it.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

We were in touch of our seniors who got passed out yrs back via social networking and yes got to know most of them in a Alumni meet.

My MCA program life sneak peak

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked coding so that's why I choose to do MCA . I mean college had actually helped me in building good programming and logical skills but I think it still lacks lot in real world. There has been subject which I think could have had practical approach then theorical but it was ignored thinking there way is right and it's students responsibility to do extra .

Placement Experience:

Eligible for Placements :- From Third Semester in MCA Companies that visited here :- Swiggy , Jaro Education , Vivo , Hike Education , etc. Highest Package from our college :- 14.52 LPA Average Package from our college :- 4-5 LPA 60% to 75% of students got placed from our college every year. If i don't get placed from college then i have to apply on LinkedIn , Naukri, Glassdoor where i our faculty give recommendation of us and our faculty also trained us for cracking interviews.

Placement Experience:

In my college, BCA students can take campus placements in the final year. some IT and software companies visit the campus, but the number of offers is limited. About 20-30% of students get placed. The highest salary is around ?3-4 LPA, and the average is about ?2 LPA. jobs are mostly for software development, testing, or IT support. students who do not get placed look for off-campus jobs or internships. After BCA, I plan to join a good IT company or do MCA to improve my career.

Good University on Budget for Quality Education

Placement Experience:

The palcement of students in tech companies are lesser but in management like sales marketing are heigher. There are so many companies visit in campus to organise drive like infosys, accenture but they not hire in large amount. Some also sales and marketing companies visit the campus but i comes from tech ground so i dont perfer them. Placement is average.

campus placements starting from 5th semester (usually in final year of MCA course). My college has very good placements. Almost all the students get placed here every year. Just last year, a student got a placement worth Rs. 1.80 crore in Selfros. I don't think I won't get placed, but if that happens, I will look for a job as a software developer somewhere else.
