I did NATA first and also score very well for taking admission in Architecture.

Internships Opportunities

Sorry to say but in this profession college never provide the internship. But they give us time for training under any architect so that we learnt how to work in office . That training started before 4th year that is 45 days training and after 4th year their is 1 year training.

Placement Experience

In this Architecture profession their is lots of placements and job opportunities I can't even explain because their is so much options after completing this degree.

Their is so many events celebrate in our college specially in our Architecture department Shrijan-that is a culture festival, Sports meet-that is sports festival, Universum : that is also a kind of culture festival but big in a scale than shrijan.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is their is semester system 30k per six months for college and i was living in hostel so my hostel fees was 36k per six months.

Exam Structure

Exam days so relaxable days because in this profession we did practical work so in exam time we feel so relax because every practical work we never forget.

Reality Of DCRUST

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose to decide this course as it is a profit course with some creative thinking going on. The curriculum of the college does not prepare at all for the real world applications or further academic pursuits. The curriculum doesn't include what is latest in technology. For example we have few elective subject which we are not allowed to choose as the college does not have the faculty for those subjects and neither do they try to get the faculty for these subjects and say that you cannot choose this subject. The areas of improvement in course curriculum are a lot. The students teach better than teachers via their presentations. The teacher just sits idol in classes and give students a topic to give presentation and teach other kids. The exams are conducted semester wise which are not at all difficult. One just needs to go through previous year papers and he will pass with good marks. The internal marks are given by teachers on the basis of how much a teacher likes a student. the work you do does not matter at all for them.

On 23rd January, students of School of Architecture and Planning (SoAP) conducted their third SoAP day wherein the students of all three years (2014-2016 batch) exhibited their work. The event was inaugurated by our Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. D.K. Jha Sir. Deans, faculty members and students from all the Schools of the University attended the event. A soap carving competition was also organized for the students where in Dheeraj and Ishan of 2nd Year won the first and second prize respectively. The event was a great success and everyone appreciated and encouraged the students for their commendable work.
