Remarks

One needs to complete the 12th Commerce exam to be eligible to take admission to this college and the admission procedure starts after 1 week of the announcement of board results. The reservations are as usual like the central government proposed reservations for SC, ST's. I think the process should be more convenient and feasible for the ones who don't belong to Pune.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I always aspired to be a CA so I choose B.Com. Talking about faculty: student ratio it's good (not best) like for every subject min 2 teachers are allocated which is and the teachers are also well qualified in their respective fields and more than 50% teachers hold Ph.D.'s. I think the teaching method should be improved as I can't even say it is average, the teachers always go with the ppt's and the ones who concentrate and is genius will understand and rest will be frustrated. And the term exams are taken by SPPU so the college has no hand in it and the difficulty varies year by year.

Placement Experience

3.5

Mostly after the 5th semester, each and every student has to take an internship as a part of its curriculum and no on-campus placements are there in the college although last year a girl got placed in a reputed company with a package of 4 LPA which is a very good package and almost 90-95% student choose to do further studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college only takes the tuition fee and the necessary items (ID card, library card, etc) and cost to study is good for the ones who didn't get admission in top colleges else normally the fees for the course is 5000-8000 year but my college charges more than double i.e 18000 so I think it should be taken into concern. The scholarships are given to very genius and needy students like you will have to be in the top 2 or 5 to get it and no jobs are on campus just teachers give us the company name were to apply just.

Campus Life

4

My college organizes a cultural fest every year like drawing, rangoli and cooking competitions. The best thing about this college is library which is too good, to be honest, and all types of books are available and the classrooms are also good as they consist of a projector in each class and good benches with a very good environment. Sports are promoted in my college and year by year the participation in different sports is increasing and which indirectly is increasing prizes in all sports. And no clubs or any social groups are currently present in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very good on paper. University has given like 8 subjects from which we have to choose 5. But this college itself chooses 5 subjects and students now have to learn only them ... Like in 3rd year sem 5 there was subject international finance I wanted to study that because baf course is all about finance but the college had subject management. So yeah be prepared for this. My colleges reputation is not that great because other city students come too. So for about teaching it's average

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is recommended for the students who want to pursue a career in the finance field or if someone who is looking to a course like CFA, this bachelors degree becomes handy. This course teaches you about the financial spectrum of the whole world and gives you an intricate understanding about different financial instruments and their relevance in the society. It teaches one of the most sought after skills in today's world, that is financial literacy. Still I think some of the subjects introduced under the NEP are completely irrelevant such as EVS and IKS. We as college students need to give quality time on some professional subjects, not that these subjects are not important but they need to be emphasised in the early classes. There are three internal exams of 10 marks each and 20 minutes for each paper. The end sem exam is of 30 marks for minor subjects and 60 marks for major subjects. Also I feel that the difficulty level is okay.
