Internship Opportunities at BCOE

You should be 12th passed and must have appeared CET Exam. The application process is completely online and very easy to process and apply. Reservation benefit is provided for all SC/ST/NT. The college also has an EBC facility and along with that, it has special provisions for students whose family income is less than 8 lakhs wherein GEN category students can apply for EWS and EBC schemes.

From the start, I was always interested in Computers and Application building. CS has been my genre and I wanted to pursue Engineering in it. The student ratio was around 1:15. All the faculty had a Masters's degree in Computer Engineering and some with Ph.D. in Computer Science with Special research areas. These terms exams were scheduled as per university norms.

Internships are offered to students around 3rd year. College provides excellent assistance to get an internship. I interned at Horizon Technologies in Web Development. I was able to learn both front-end and back-end technologies during the internship. It was very beneficial for me.

Students become eligible for Campus Placements around their 3rd and 4th year of Engineering. Companies like Central Railway, ONGC, Aditya Birla, and other tech companies offer internships to students. Students with more than 8.5 GPAs are placed in top companies. CS students are placed in companies like Accenture, TCS, Quinnox Inc, Just Dial, Sankey Solutions, Capgemini, and many more. Students with a 9 above GPA move towards product-based companies or big startups.

The fees structure is quite normal and is less compared to other Engineering Colleges. The fees hike is very minimal. There are special benefits for students in SC/ST/NT and OBC categories with fewer fees and many government scholarship opportunities. GEN students also have an option for EBC scholarships as well as EWS schemes for students with family incomes less than 8 lakhs. The college offered various internships and job opportunities and helped us in all ways. I was offered an internship during the starting term of my final year of engineering as well as the college assisted me in backing a Job at a leading MNC with a good package during my last term.

There are many annual fests and events going on all around the year. Students can actively participate in these events. Events like annual fest, hackathons, and robotic fests are conducted. The college has a huge library and a variety of books and journals to choose from. The classroom is equipped with good seatings and benches with blackboards and all-around ventilation windows. There is an annual sports event conducted in college which included both indoor as well as outdoor games for all students and has various prizes to win. Groups such as MESA(Mechanical Student Association), CSI (Computer Society of India), and many others are present for students to actively participate.
