Remarks
The admission process was simple, You can apply offline by visiting campus. You can opt through JEE Mains / Advance result or you can also give an entrance test if you haven't done JEE but passing 12th class is mandatory. For JEE, Anything about 40% will work well, and for the 12th class above 60%.
Course Curriculum Overview
I took B. Tech CSE with specialization in MobileApp Here's my experience, Courses are more focused towards the Engineering subject you opted for. They removed subjects like Civil, Biology, Chemistry which are mandatory in 1st year in any other RGPV college. Overall course is nearly the same as RGPV but better in some areas. Faculty is a bit dependent on your course but in my subject, they're good and understanding and on average there's a 1:40 ratio for a number of faculty and students which is average. What I liked is at the end of the semester, College asks you for feedback and the faculty cannot know about it. So you have transparency for speaking. You have Mid-Sem Exam, Internals & Externals (Practicals and Viva) then End Sem Exam. Assignments given are too much and some subject's assignments are writing work due to which you cannot do anything else like an internship on the side.
Placement Experience
Students from 4TH sem are eligible for placements. Mostly TCS, IBM, InfoSys, ByJus are notable in placements for CS and IT. Highest package would be 16 LPA by Value Labs and ByJus and the average would lie btw 4.5 LPA to 7LPA. Students who got average package have above 75% cgpa. I would try off college placements too as they can be sometimes give you better option in terms of package or location.
Fees and Financial Aid
I've faced some problems in fee structure but this may change when offline classes will start (2019 covid lockdown). You have to pay a fee before each semester starts. You have to pay a whole semester worth of fee (for ex: 51,000 rs) once before the semester starts and you have a tiny time window. For students who got above 85% marks, the Top 10 students will get 90% waived off their fee. The rest of the students above 85% marks will get a 50% waived off their fee. Minority scholarships for OBC, ST & SC There are a few more options which depend on your course.
Campus Life
The campus is good (CSE) and you have many facilities. You have many events each year (ex: Kaushal (annual function), Prayatna which help you socialize, Student clubs like Google GDSC, IBM, Microsoft club give you opportunities and side activities. Even internships. Highly recommend participating in student clubs and activities. The library is maintained well and has a wide range of collections. There are many coursebooks too which you can read and issue.
