Course Curriculum Overview

It is a five years UG course that consists of various theories, studio, project work, research training etc. The entire curriculum includes subjects like architecture design, types of structures, building construction, architectural appreciations. Semester 1 to 6 deals with foundation courses and exploration subjects and the rest of the semester is dedicated to practical training and elective based subjects.

Amity University, Mohali PP talks on campus to make the placement drive easy. It witnessed the participation of 500 companies. Nearly 8000 students get placement to this round. The total package of this course is Rs 97,000. It is divided into 5 years duration. Students have to submit an application fee during the time of admission.

Amity Scholarship scheme gives special benefit to the students. It is served on a first come first serve basis. admission scholarships are applicable within the first year of getting admission. 90% aggregate marks holder in CBSE/ISC board of 12 get scholarship.

It has 40 acre state of the art campus which is just 10 minutes away from Chandigarh airport. Among infrastructures, vast compounds, beautiful labs, air-conditioned classrooms, libraries etc spread over the campus.

Hostel Facilities

There is a hostel on the campus for both boys and girls. Vigilant security of the hostel is strict about the security. The fees are Rs 1,50,000 for AC room and Rs 80,000 for non AC room. Food cost is Rs 6,000 - 10,000 per month.

Admission

JEE Main /NATA/ UPSEE etc are taken as an entrance exam. Students need to pass the Science stream in the 10+2 exam.

INDO GLOBAL COLLEGE OF ARCHITECTURE Reality

Course Curriculum Overview:

the only aspect from which i took this college was the fees and the distance as the other college were too far the method of teaching here is not much good and i prefer if you want to take admission here then only take it if u have two things like if u dont have any other options like fees,distance, or taking drop the timing of college is 9 to 4pm and they are little strict like they will not let u go out but u can go if u know how to go

Remarks:

Our college has a peaceful environment with vast campus space. But the infrastructure is old. Also there isn't placement opportunities for the students. The hostels can be improved by a great deal. But the faculty is good, although some practical work can be improved in teaching.

Good College For Architecture Studies

Admission:

I was interested in pursuing Bachelors in Architecture and those opted for this college. I took the JEE Main Paper 2 and qualified it. Sat for the counselling and got the college in the later rounds of counselling. Admissions to the college are done based on the merit. However, certain seats are also offered through management quota.

I took the NATA (National Aptitude Test for Architecture) and obtained the score 80 / 200 . I appeared once again for the examination in the same year and scored 100/200 so average was calculated as 90.
