Remarks

Eligibility for admission in the bachelor's of pharmacy is more than 60% in 12th(Physics chemistry biology/Maths. There is no entrance examination for admission, they select the students on the basis of their neet ranking. All the details regarding the admission procedure is on the official website of the university with the application form. Jamia Hamdard has a 50% quota for the Muslim community and also has the NRI quota. The online portal should be improved.

The pharmacy world is evolutionary that's why I choose this course. The ratio is quite good we have 2 or 3 professors for a single subject. Faculty members are awesome. They conduct examinations timely yeah! end sem is tough because we have a huge syllabus.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Fees are high if you compare it with the government colleges. Minority and financial aid-related scholarship. The scholarship here is not much beneficial. After B.pharm there is not much placement.

Campus Life

Jashn e adab, Sports week and some other things are conducted by the university . The library is fine here we have a pharmacy library as well as a central library. Classrooms are so bad in our department Even the fan doesn't work nicely. We have a sports complex in our university. Our college has no student associations but students are involved in IPGA and IPA-like associations.

From 8th semester students are eligible for campus placements There are many companies visited in college which hire the students on basis of their skills. Companies visited can be seen in prospectus of college. Most probably i will opt for higher studies to enter in the field of research.

Placement Experience:

From last year of course student become eligible for campus placements . Companies like TCS , sunpharma , eli lily, mankind , Chegg , Lupin , and some small companies come for placements. Average package is around 3 lakhs pa. Highest would be 8 lakhs for b pharm students. Highest would be 25 lakhs to m pharm students. My plan is to complete my post graduation in MBA and then work in corporate pharmaceutical industry.

The placement cell works hard to give a rich and practical exposure to the childern abou the industies, Students are able to appear for placements in the final year. Several companies like Eli lilly, Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddy's, GSK come for placements. Almost 80% of the stuydents get placed every year.

A decent place for studying Pharmacy .

Placement Experience:

Campus placements occur in the last sem of graduation. Companies with demand and vacancy come and have a different set of rules for the shortlisting and different rounds of counselling. Some companies look for students above 70% overall while some look for students above 60% overall. Companies like Eli Lilly, Iqvia, ZS come for placements and the salary offered is bw 4-5 lacs CTV.

College is good I will recommend this to every deserving student

The admission procedure of this college is online as well as offline you can apply it by both modes. I applied for open studies only for the certificate and side by I go a for the professional courses so that's why I opt for SODL(SCHOOL OF OPEN DISTANCE LEARNING). The course is available for both regular and open students. There is no age bar, and the minimum percentage is 45% in 12th to take admission in it.
